    Moving to Australia

I take it you don't work for the Australian Tourist Board?

    We are safe!

It's good nobody told him how to play against us: simply pass the ball to our defence or keeper and they'll do the rest. Either that or walk into our penalty area and one of us is sure to hack them down.

So who do we think will be leaving ?

If Yoko had been a football player, which position do we think she'd have played? I think she'd be a number 9, number 9, number 9...

100%. This isn't a "Fidelity UK Special Situations" unit trust (and even then the information is there for anyone who wants to find it). People putting money with SISU will be very wealthy and sophisticated investors... which may be through their Wealth Manager but they will know.

SISU aren't stupid. So why would they put so much money into a football club, knowing that they almost all lose money all of the time? They were wrong but I think they thought there were two reasons: 1. Primarily, I think it was a property play. They thought they could get the Ricoh for...

    Budget

As much as I want to disagree, because I disagree with the notion that people should be expected to put money into something without a return, football has changed so much since the 70s that nobody in their right mind would put money into a club expecting both a profit and promotions. It has...

Agree... I don't think we will be looking at established Championship players either... indeed I don't think we should.

    Ben Wilson

All humans are from the same mold - Google says it was Archaea, which strictly speaking is a bacteria-like microbe, not a mold.

    Ben Wilson

It seems to me that had that ball not bounced high and Wilson gathered it safely, there would be fewer calling for a new keeper and more claiming Wilson is the answer. I'm making no comment on his suitability for next season as most on here know far more than I... just commenting on the way...

    Budget

I think it's unlikely that someone would pay enough for Hamer, who performed for only the first half of one season, such that we can buy three good Championship players with the proceeds. It might pay their wages if they came on frees.

I suspect that it's possible that the investors could be persuaded to put some more money in - although they must be pretty pissed off with the returns so far and may instead want to wait until we are top half with 20k gates before doing so. A final push if you like once we've done the...

So who do we think will be leaving ?

I wish I knew more so I could have an opinion on Yoko. I thought Paul's reaction to John dying was awful. Who's to blame for the split? Is it Yoko? Or John? Or Paul?

    We are safe!

We conceded by far the most penalties this season - and they were all converted. I'm not even sure if this includes yesterday: And also hit the woodwork the other end far more than any other side (cannot find a table). To survive whilst shooting ourselves in both feet all season is remarkable.

    We are safe!

I think it's important to take a little time to remember all those teams that are not safe. Please join me at 3pm today in a minute of silence to reflect upon Wycombe; Grimsby Town; Barnet; West Brom and all other teams throughout the world less fortunate than ourselves.

    Match Thread Preston (H)

Wilson very lucky not to be sent off there... and stupid to do what he did. He's never going to stop the attacker with his gloves on if he wants to score - just gives him the option to fall over if he needs to,
