No difficult decisions for him, but he did nothing wrong.

Scores on the doors vs Swansea

EMC a level above. They were terrified of him. Grimes and Kitching very good. Not a vintage performance, and not a particularly enjoyable game to watch, but who cares. Swansea looked very good in the first half, but had no cutting edge.

They may want to look at the league table for possible clues to his decision.

Tough watch, but huge win. Half way and 51 points. Amazing.

That was a very tough watch. Until the goal, I was going to say that it was summed up by EMC smacking a goal bound shot straight at Rudoni. Still, ahead. It needs a significant improvement in the second half, though.

Quite an obscure one, but Garry Thompson's brother, Keith. Started with us, didn't do much, went to Spain, came back to us, didn't do much. Managed at least one goal, though, as he has the distinction of being the first substitute I ever saw score for us, v. West Ham. Also, Clarke-Harris.

That Wrexham result wasn't just the defence, though; we had two midfielders fit enough to start, one of whom was Allen, who isn't suited to that type of very physical game.

I haven't read the entire thread, but is anyone arguing we don't need more options out wide?

    Leaders

The best description of one of our players on here was, 'Brad Collins doesn't look like a footballer, he looks like a man who would try to sell you mastiff puppies in a flat-roofed pub.' No idea whose post it was, but it proper made me laugh.

    Kitching and Thomas

From what I gather, we tried to sign McNally on a perm at that time. McNally was a more experienced, and thus better, player at the time, but even without his bad luck with injury, would he be at Thomas' level now? I'm not sure about that.

You don't often see chonks like that in the modern game, do you. It's like proper tufties; men who have gone bald but do not shave what remains off. The Atillio Lombardo types. A thing from a bygone age.

    Rivals for auto spots

I'll win Miss World before we win there*. We've never won a league game there. Ever. This year was particularly annoying because the team thought they'd won the game after going 1-0 up against ten. It's the only time I've been genuinely cross at a performance this season. Well, ok, Hull in...
