    Is it Unthinkable

Plus, it can't add up. It has us losing 2 and winning just 1 of the remaining 10 games, yet predicts 11 points. Not possible

    Last day outcome

The massive flaw in this has been highighted by their own article. A computer system that can't do basic maths. Their write-up has us losing at home to Oxford and losing away at Wimbledon. They then state that our sole win is against Burton. That leaves 7 games, and it's not possible to get 8...

11 points from 10 games, with 1 win (Burton) and 1 defeat (Wimbledon) leave 8 draws - from 10 games??? Idiots!!

Whoever wrote the program has assumed we have had a lot of lucky 1-0 wins and have not seen us play

That's complete rubbish. There is no basis at all for that kind of prediction.

    5% chance of L1 & 2 completing

But if the void this season and clubs have to play next season BCD until at least January won't that happen anyway?

    5% chance of L1 & 2 completing

So if the Premier League completes the season and the EFL don't, what will happen about relegation from the PL assuming the EFL were to void the season? League football only exists for the supporters, and I can see the logic in completing a season behind closed doors but I can't see the logic in...

    Bristol City Captain

If football is not going to be played until Jan 21 then all kinds of problems will follow. Euro 2020 to be played next summer, existing player contracts ending in June next year, the Premier league possibly having extra teams. This will take some sorting out.

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

Am I missing something or would it only be the Premier League with extra teams if there is no relegation?

    Coronavirus (CCFC Related)

We may have a better idea by the end of this week. The Premier League are meeting with the government on Friday, with the emphasis on getting the season finished. If they have definite plans outlined to complete, then I imagine the EFL will be in a position to decide what they are going to do...

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

I think people are looking at the testing issue as of today's situation, but testing will need to be ramped up massively before we can even consider relaxing lockdown rules. If that happens testing should not be an issue. I don't think there will be any chance of any events going ahead until...

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

Ok I respect your thoughts on this but that would mean deliberately not relegating 2 or 4 teams that have completed the season in relegation positions just so they don't have to apply some formula for L1 & L2, and that will undoubtedly lead to widespread anger and possibly court action. If the...

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

The point is though, if the Premier league is competed there will be relegations to the championship, hence also promotions from the Championship either by them also completing the season, or based on PPG or some other method. If the Championship also complete the season and L1 + L2 don't then...

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

Just been announced on BBC that the government are keen to get football back up and running BCD in May. They only mentioned the premier league but I imagine that would mean all league football.

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

According to the BBC report the dutch government has banned major events until 1st September. If this is taken literally, behind closed doors games would not be permitted, hence the season had no chance of finishing. At the moment this is not the same as our position.

Video Why & what made you a Coventry Supporter

Success on the field, promotion, open top buses, appearances at Wembley is what attracts new supporters. Some people call them glory supporters but many stick with the team all their lives. This will form part of the hidden cost to us if the season gets voided.

Several EFL Clubs “days away from going bust”

In reality what is likely to happen if lots of clubs go into administration. There always seems to be someone willing to put a rescue package together, even at Bury that could have happened if the FL had accepted it. It did happen at Bolton. Grounds and training facilities will still exist, and...
