Match Thread Walsall vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 10th Nov

Brighton didn't let us play Maguire-Drew... never stood a chance after that

    Cup Matches... Play or Rest?

Now that we have a mini break until Burton, which players should play or rest? My take... GK: Burge - play Saturday, LOB Tuesday; RB: Grimmer - play both games; LB: Brown - play Saturday (no Mason still?), Camwell to be at fault for the goal on Tuesday; CB: Willis - would rest. Hyam Davies (if...

Doyle got the goal, but it was his ball to Hiwula that gave him no chance that lead to their goal. So really a 6 is fair.

I thought, aerially, Thompson was superb. Knew what he was doing defending but didn't have a clue going forward, which is reasonable being a CB. I thought our attackers were poor to not support him when he was taking attacking throw ins mind... although it shows they are used to a better level...

    Bayliss + Sterling

Seriously Bayliss not playing because he is joining a team on January 1... which is 59 FUCKING DAYS AWAY. What dicks start this shit?!!

Jordan Willis was nothing short of exceptional in the 2nd half. Without him, we would have lost.

    The boat/James

However, I have just seen on twitter that the U23s are playing Charlton tomorrow... sadly at the Alan Higgs. When is the away fixture... redemption awaits!

No connections... it was a direct bus to Bradford that did not turn up.

It would be funny if this game starts an unbeaten 30 game run, leading us to automatic promotion! And when looking back in 20 years time... what was the turning point for Coventry City??? That fucking boat!

Don't rub it in... they've done 300 quid... now they have to pay another 25 quid for 2 taxis, just for a discussion!

Basically what has been said previous... in that they do not accomodate this for a 'football crowd', and will be looking to rectify this on Monday with the company. And as for the comments... well think of Junior Brown's social media account if we had lost 1-0!

He did on facebook, but I think he took the post down on the account that he got filled in so much, that Solvite almost sponsored the comments thread. Shame he did that... there was some blinding stuff written on there!

I was on the later bus from the Wallace... I saw James after FT saying it was a disaster... I was thinking it was due to the weather, but then I remembered why I didn't go on it... even the fucking Titanic wouldn't have enough booze/or staff to man an (I assume) extremely small bar for that...

Jordan Shipley - is he good enough for league 1

If someone shows Gareth Southgate footage of the 2nd goal at Wembley, then we might have another Declan Rice situation on our hands...

68 mins into our 12th game, and finally...

A Coventry City player has scored a goal with their boots in open play! A pretty lame statistic there... let's hope we get another before Xmas! Although that might depend on how many chances fall to Luke Thomas!

    Allassani loaned out

Gets games in him, so he is up and running by the time Luke Thomas leaves.

Karl Robinson: "We got kicked from pillar to post"

Nolan obsession aside, how many games when we have lost has MR said we were not 'street wise' enough... and we just have to buy it, as opposed to not being set up correctly.

Karl Robinson: "We got kicked from pillar to post"

Interesting comments from the Oxford manager, especially regarding the treatment on Marcus Browne. Would that suggest we are becoming, dare I say, a more 'street wise' outfit??? Probably not... just another rotund scouse manager moaning over Coventry!
