Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Saw this on twitter and assume it was an outlier but it seems not and the Conservatives are extending their lead over Labour with recent poll putting them 5 points ahead. Can't get my head around the fact that the government seem to be gaining increased support while Labour are falling back.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Couldn't agree more with this. Would love to see post after post on here from leavers highlighting fantastic things that are happening due to Brexit. At the moment we seem to be celebrating anything that isn't worse than it was as an EU member.

    Undercover Police

That was the gist of what he said. Collecting information and handing it over can help. Arranging to meet someone and streaming it on facebook is a problem.

In a way you become numb to the figures, certainly to how badly they compare to the rest of the world. I was watching the NHL ice hockey highlights yesterday and they spoke about the possibility of limited crowds returning in the Canadian division in the next few weeks as Canada is starting to...

    Undercover Police

One of the officers made some interesting comments on the facebook style paedo hunters. Basically that while some of them just gather evidence and hand it over a lot of them just want 5 minutes of fame and do more harm than good.

    Supporters forum - 25th February

Would be interesting to get the breakdown of the data but there's no chance of seeing that, if it even exists. Wonder if its the older supporters, who maybe aren't as up with technology, who aren't bothering. Its a struggle to get my parents to use things like iplayer and that's built into the...

Why would anyone who watches home games not watch away games? Assume for some it will be financial reasons but besides that I don't see why you'd watch one and not the other.

With schools I hope they use common sense, although haven't seen much of that so far, and if we're getting towards the end of the school year just call it a day. Hope they don't do something like get everyone back in for the last couple of weeks of term and then send everyone off for the summer...

What are you currently listening to?

Enjoying the new Foo Fighters album. Some reviews having a go as its not radically different to their other albums. Bit unrealistic to expect a sudden change of style on album number 10.

Not sure its a like for like comparison. At the Ricoh there was huge costs on top of the rent but when St Andrews is spoken about its an 'all in' cost. Of course that could have backfired as we might now be paying for things that aren't needed unless Brum agreed to a reduction.

Completely agree. Would rather have a few extra weeks lockdown now than go too soon and mess it up. If the pattern follows last year and things get better as we get towards summer given that will tie in with when we have a good chunk of the population vaccinated that seems the time to start...

My doctors is starting back up with vaccinations again this weekend. They've been on hold for a while despite saying they had stock of vaccine and just needed the go ahead from NHS England. Assume there was a concern about getting enough doses for peoples second jabs and they were being held...

    Salary Caps

And it will be the fans of the clubs who happily outspend everyone else without a care about the consequences who will be celebrating this and urging their owners to get the cheque book out even though we're in a pandemic. Wouldn't surprise me to see the likes of Sunderland and Portsmouth trying...

Well we won't know how good or bad the accounts for the covid period are for a good while yet. Going up when we did means we have gone in to the Championship knowing there's a good chance we'd be BCDs are able to budget accordingly.

    Salary Caps

On the face of it a ridiculously short sighted decision. We wait years for football to make any attempt to sort out the financial mess its in and as soon as anything is done you've got the likes of the PFA trying to get it reversed.
