    Crowd noise

Live 40 miles away and the price is not an issue. Midweek games in the bleak midwinter don't appeal when I don't get home until midnight and have an early start ... Age catching up with me.

    Crowd noise

I watched on Tv and was disappointed it wasn't that loud except in that last 10 minutes. The fact that the camera doesn't pick up our fans at all doesn't help... Looked like we had a near empty stadium. I'm sure it was really loud in there though. Well done to all Sky Blues tonight ... Except...

How close to sell out crowd at the Ricoh?

So, when the dust settles... How close to a sell out will the area final be at Ricoh? Discuss... Note, second leg is during February half term and should ensure a larger crowd.

The Senior Generation of Sky Blue Fans

Being Old School means you can smile when the young guns get excited about any "big game" when you've seen it all before. The idea that Preston at home in the Football League Trophy (original name) is a big game shows how low we have sunk. I can remember laughing at Wolves fans when they won it...

    Preston at home.

Note, I live 30 miles from Cov and after taking family members home I don't get home until 11.30.

    Preston at home.

I'm not going either. Season ticket holder, which is a big enough commitment for me thanks. I don't do cup games as watching City is painful enough and over 42 years I have put myself out many times only to be gutted, cold and home at midnight. OK we are on the up but CCFC owe me more than I owe...

    David McGoldrick off to Ipswich

So sorry that you think Westwood won't regret a career which had great promise petering out like it has. He has played 9 league games in 18 months at Sunderland. What a waste! What medals or memories will he be able to share with his grandchildren? zilch. Such a short career and the best years...

    David McGoldrick off to Ipswich

Can I take issue with the assertion that we would all leave our job for a pay rise. If you are already on good money, spare cash to spend, successful and well liked at work many would stay put. I, for one, would not change jobs as I am 5 minutes from workplace, settled and successful. If I moved...

    Worst decision

Listening to family members who assured me there was no reason to buy a season ticket to ensure a cup final ticket. No, you have the tickets stubs from the quarter final, the semi and stacks of home games, there will be tickets left and we will queue up when they go on sale as you work 30 miles...

    ticket sales

I think the main issue with pay on the gate is arriving at 2.55 and expecting no queue. Get there by 2.30 and there should be no problem (IF they open a few turnstiles) People don't want to get there early though so they create the problem themselves.

    ticket sales

Why don't these folks just pay on the gate as the price is the same? OK queue a bit but that's better than making 2 trips up surely?

'Sky Blues special to me' - McGoldrick

Having a dig at Cranie, Clingan etc is stupid. King, Best, Juke, Gunnar, Westwood, Keogh and now Goldie, they all listen to their agents who tell them they can get them a better deal so they run down their contract. Nothing to do with "think they are better than us" (which is actually quite...

Time to do it at home!

Fantastic run of form under MR. I think we all agree a great job is being done ... Also those that travel away deserve the current success for their loyalty and infinite patience. One thing missing though. At least half of our fans who are season ticket holders or regulars at home matches have...

Anyone else get a pang of sadness every time they think about Highfield Road?

I feel very angry about it too. First game in 1970. Now the money men have stolen our club and some bastard(s) have trousered piles of cash and left us with a shambles. As well as blaming the board members over the years I also blame the F.A. What is their role if not to safeguard the game...

    JPT Game On Sky

I shall sit at home and get my final ticket if we get there. Perk of season ticket. Why would I travel 90 miles round trip for a midweek game in January .. No chance.

    FAO : Ricoh Jesus

Someone is very ignorant if they think Jesus is a made up character. Ask any historian of ancient times and they will show you vast evidence of a real person. Maybe not son of God, healer miracle maker etc ... But definitely a real person. If you doubt it do the research.
