Andy Thorn favourite for the Kidderminster job

Remember we were actually out of the bottom 3 on March 31st with only 6 games left to play after the 2-0 win at Hull. We also had a favourable run in which we played Bristol (A), Peterborough (H), Milwall (H) and Doncaster (H) as 4 of the last 6 games, all of who were struggling at the time, imo...

    Good article on Leon

Yep 14 league goals by February for them, out till the end of the season with knee ligament damage now

    This afternoons games

Lose tomorrow and I'll be getting a bit nervous, win and it will look a look a lot better. It only takes a couple of wins and we will be back to midtable mediocrity

First time I have disagreement with Elvis

Maybe he predicted that we would go through a bumpy spell as he anticipated that as the season went on we would inevitably get injuries and suspensions to key players?

    Maths

It would be extremely difficult to stay in the championship on low wages. Bristol were relegated with a wage bill of 18.6 million and Wolves 25 million

Yea, I'm pretty sure it is half and half on the academy

    Nuneaton Town

It's quite sad because if the improbable did happen and Nuneaton moved into the Ricoh then 75% of members on here would be rejoicing on here about ACL getting one over on the club by moving another team in and rubbing it in. Our fans don't really care about the morals, it's just a good reason...

This article says L1 clubs receive £360,000 from the PL fund and championship clubs receive £2.3 million pounds + money received from their own tv deal

On the income, you've missed out TV money, merchandise sales, advertising deals, and shirt sponsorships. Could also do other things like, naming rights deal on the stadium. Also got potential for unexpected windfalls from big cup ties or good cup runs.

    The Treatment Table Thread

Defence needs a re-shuffle as well, maybe 1 or 2 of Clarke, Willis and Phillips along the backline

    The Treatment Table Thread

Yea Burge and Phillips were supposedly immense for Nuneaton at the end of last season

    Just went to add this

Norwood, Wells, Danny Ward, Alex Smithies, Adam Clayton and James Vaughn off the top of my head. You have a lack of football knowledge Grendell, on their team I'd say it is pretty standard for the championship. Mid table would be the expectation but with ambitions to challenge for the play offs...

Tonights Results (For Those That Still Care)

We won't get relegated, anyone who thinks we will are drama queens. A couple of wins and we will be back in comfortable mid table

    Denzel Slager linked to Stoke

If he signs for another English club within the next 12 months then I'll acknowledge something else was probably wrong behind the scenes. Although I think the rumours are bull, why would we agree to terminate his contract if clubs from a higher league are interested in him and he has 18 months...

    Denzel Slager linked to Stoke

He changed his mind as he wanted to go back to his home country, maybe he thought he could get over his homesickness but then realised he couldn't. Listen I'm all for having a go at the owners but people in this thread aren't making sense.

    Who Cares

I'm genuinely jealous of those who can stop caring, I still care as much as I did in my first season. As I said in another thread I've only been supporting City since 03/04 so it's just been all shit from then, at the moment I genuinely regret becoming a City supporter. When I look back, I ask...

    Denzel Slager linked to Stoke

What are you babbling about, he was on trial for a month so he obviously knew about sixfields before signing the 18 month contract. He almost joined us in the summer so I think he would be well aware of the situation. So to then to use it as a reason for leaving a month later is stupid...

    Denzel Slager linked to Stoke

Slager signed an 18 month contract, he can't just get up and leave because he feels like it. If he is such a talent and so in demand that Blackburn and Stoke want him, why didn't we wait to get a fee for him in the summer? We could have sent him out on loan if he really didn't want to be here...

    Denzel Slager linked to Stoke

No your opinion that he left because of sixfields is the biggest load of shite on here. Are you forgetting that Slager was on trial with us for several weeks in December before signing so he knew the scenario?

    You starting XI

It's difficult ----------Murphy Phillips--Clarke--Seabourne--Adams Marshall--Thomas--Fleck---Moussa --------------Petrasso --------------Akpom Some difficult choices in there, I think Webster and Christie should be dropped. We have several options to replace them at RB the candidates are...
