A good summary although Leon Clarke handed in his transfer request on 13 January so Clarke didn't force his move through at the last minute. The club had 2 weeks to prepare for his departure and bring a replacement in and instead they rushed in a deadline day for Donnely who didn't want to be here.

He's right, no defender from our squad deserves players of the season, perhaps a contender for young player of the season though.

Also it is obvious that Clarke and Wilson were carrying this team, we won't move forward in this division until we start defending properly.

tbf I have heard both be very complimentary about him, saying he's the type of player that you would have to build the system around him. It's just been that other players have always been ahead of him
