I'm no good at maths but...

Simple. We all boycott the food and drink stalls at the Ricoh. The club sells food and drink from the barrow at Tesco and in all the car parks of businesses around the Ricoh and we all buy stuff from them. This Compass stuff is a commercial challenge that any competent business can get around...

    Why doesn't that surprise me?

    CCFC retail outlet

Can someone take a photo of the infamous barrow outside Tesco and post it on Facebook page, twitter and other social media. Attach it to all your correspondence to FL etc. Send it to all media outlets and show the world what our club has now been reduced to. It is beyond embarrassing now.

Fisher given the platform he wants

He made a big thing of the need to come out of Admin swiftly. Is this getting his excuse in for SISU buying back Limited? Or softening us up for the alternative was liquidation?

    Cwr tomorrow

Someone needs to subvert the event by asking the audience: hands up if you will watch home games outside Coventry? That will show TF what he is up against. Follow up swiftly with, hands up if you won't. It will be too late for anyone to stop a very effective point.

So where would we be better off

Why would Coventry City fans, many of whom have followed the club for decades, witnessing thin and thinner, NEED AN EXCUSE to stop supporting the club they have shown such loyalty to? Most will do so with a heavy heart and you have little understanding of the nature of long term support if you...

    Season Tickets

On a side note it amuses one that they think the cheapest day out includes buying a programme, a drink and a pie. Surely the cheapest day out would be to not buy these, just a ticket? How we laughed. I always buy a tea and a programme ... But a pie too? Spendthrift.

CCLSC minutes 29th May - Fisher Speaks

No but they might need one to bail out a stadium build for them.

This still remains my favourite "Fisherism"

As I put in the other thread, "ACL is not even a real company" this will make me laugh every time I recall it in the light of the confusion over which company is the real CCFC, which is trading, which has the golden share, which has the lease and debt and naming rights and beneficial rights...

CCLSC minutes 29th May - Fisher Speaks

I think my personal favourite line is, "ACL is not even a real business." This from the author of CCFC Ltd and CCFC (Holdings) Ltd accounts signed off, plus the much discussed confusion over the former being a non trading entity etc. which has taken a court appointed Administrator many weeks...

CCLSC minutes 29th May - Fisher Speaks

Alas, no. Of course this version paints CCC ACL in a bad light; they would say that wouldn't they? It paints SISU in an even worse light, totally unsuited to running a professional football club. No understanding, no negotiating skills, no transparency, no idea.

CCLSC minutes 29th May - Fisher Speaks

Time for stout hearts gentlemen and ladies. Even in their own version of events our owners sound like incompetent, grasping, mendacious fools. Stand firm. Be of good cheer. Once more unto the breaches. Not a penny more. If we die in the attempt, or the club does, better to die with your...

People of coventry wheres the support?

You have to factor in what has been raised before, namely that we have not had a good season for 15 years. How many other clubs have failed so dismally in that time frame? Even a top six, cup semi or run of exciting form would be something. The relentless gloom has driven many away. Now if we...

So where would we be better off

Owning your own home rather than renting is not, necessarily better in the long term if, 1. The value of the property goes down 2. The interest on your loan is high but rental value is low. 3. You cannot sell the property you own. 4. You die before the long term is reached. I could go on...

So where would we be better off

You can follow the move if you want, SBTaylor. Most of our fans have already moved once and won't be doing so again.

Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

A whole generation? As most of our fans are over 45 why should they be in favour of such a pie in the sky scenario which they won't live to see? I know you are a teenager but think about that for a moment. The scenario is utter madness. 7000 is wildly optimistic. My guess would be about 3000...

So who is going to the forum.

Sounds elitist but obviously all fans are equal, but some are more equal than others.
  18. oakey

why we are so dissatisfied with SISU and could we expect any better off new owners?

Irrelevant, as I was speaking in general terms summarising the views expressed on this forum, ie many take a Moral stance, others take a practical, it won't work, stance. Of course, you can try to confuse the issue by referring to specific cases in which fan x or fan z supported an "immoral"...

Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

It is indisputable only to those who have already decided to take a stance and stick to it come what may.

Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

They may be serious but it is madness which will pile tens of millions in more debt onto the club. They underestimate the huge section of our fan base which is 45+ many of whom will not follow the club by the time the new stadium is in use.
