The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

As you know it was designed this way. If they would have been willing to talk trade at an early time we would have known what was beeded in Ireland. But it was sort out problems that might not exist and work out how many billions we would have to hand over before we could talk trade.

You been on the beer or are you just making stuff up again? Our minimum wage is more than most of the EU. It is more than most of America. Yet now you make out it is slave wages and the jobs should be abolished. So what are you going to do about America and Europe? Exactly.

But anything can succeed if risking a no deal. That is what so many are having a go at BJ for. I'm not happy to risk anything for a no deal even though I expect things to be sorted by the end of the transition period.

Where did I say I don't want wages to go up? What I said is they can't go up too quickly because of the chain of events that would follow that would send inflation up. Big difference there.

SoH? I am not going to joke about this subject. Seems like it is more serious than you can comprehend.

Certainly not close down companies that can't afford wage hikes like you suggested. There isn't any simple solution. If it was that simple it would have been done by now. But we still need to protect jobs even if it means they don't pay any tax. Because if not working they become fully...

Show me where I have said I want to create jobs not economically viable. You need to stop making things up.

Sounds like a good idea. But we don't have a clue which way it would go. So leave without a deal is voted for? We would either leave without a deal or ignore another vote. Then could anyone say we are not after a certain result only?

And? I just don't get all this bullshit. Is Boris supposed to come back and offer what May kept trying to push through but kept failing as hardly anyone wanted it or was happy with it? Or is he supposed to make us leave without a deal? Or does he have to try and make them start...

Yeah. You are OK on your teachers wage. But anyone on minimum wage should be thrown on the unemployed list? Have you seen the state of high streets all across the country? Yeah lets just close them all.

No it isn't. But he is minimum second in command. And he seems to be calling the shots. He keeps contradicting Corbyn. Then Corbyn changes his mind. We all know how much he changes his mind. They have been together since the days of the IRA. McDonnell still has a commemorative plaque for the IRA...

Shop workers are on minimum wage a lot of the time. A lot of shops are not doing well. How many of these chains could afford a big wage increase? Hotels and caterers not doing well? There is a big list of those companies not making a fortune. And you have additional costs that go with higher...

But it is McDonnell coming out with the policies. And sometimes they are against what Corbyn is saying. Then consider how close they have been for decades.

I agree with reward. I want everyone earning a decent wage. But like I said we need to keep inflation down. Otherwise the pay rise would be lost to inflation.

Is that right? John McDonnell: I’ll back Remain over a Labour Brexit deal
  17. Astute

    Jeremy corbyn

Yes. McDonnell has been saying so. But he has been making several ideas known lately. And not sure if he is over ruling Corbyn at times or if he does actually call the shots. Sometimes it doesn't seem to have much thought go into the ideas. Like private tenants having the right to buy at a...

No proper reasoning. Just Labour would sort it out. But they can't even come out with a constant line.

So do you disagree with the £10 an hour most are quoting?

    Jeremy corbyn

Can you explain your reasoning? Labour are losing votes. Blame whoever or whatever. But Labour won't win. The votes will go to leave or remain. Not leave but make a deal that keeps us tied to the EU. That was the May approach. Nobody was happy with it. Leavers wanted out. Remainers wanted in.
