    Black Friday Deals

Deals still available I think Getting a pro to fit it is very useful, as it also controls hot water as well as heating. I'd have no idea how to connect it all.

    Black Friday Deals

My son told me yesterday John Lewis had the Hive thermostat, including fitting, for £199. I had considered getting one of these anyway, so saved £50 from the British Gas £249 cost.

An insult to the memory of Jimmy Hill

Yes, and lots more stuff too. The factories etc was about getting dads to go, who, guess what, also took their kids. Even made the away trips easier for families with the sky blue special. It's difficult to separate all the stuff he did and group it as "just kids" Nick. edited to ensure correct...

An insult to the memory of Jimmy Hill

Are you really comparing having a kids party with all the stuff JH used to have the club do? Perhaps you are too young to know all the initiatives he set up, although all the tributes after his death should have given you some idea I would have thought?

I think there are a few others to blame for the goal before burge. His kicking was mostly poor today.

    Close, but no cigar

Many moons ago, father-in-law used to do the ITV 7 every Saturday. He got 6 correct once, and they paid out £400 odd. The horse that let him down won 17 of its 18 races..... Brigadier Gerard? Only one it lost was in his bet. He could of won hundreds of thousands if it had won.

    A Rare Success Story

Went for a meal at the Hickory Smokehouse (Peeping Tom) last Friday. Must say, I liked it. I asked the waiter a question about the beef brisket, and he went and brought me a sample of it to taste. Ordered it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Daughter loved it too. Atmosphere good, service very good...

    Something to rally the troops...

I'm all for managers being honest, but I'd rather he said nothing than stuff like that. Sounds like a man who isn't getting the job to me.

That is indeed the 4A and the correct colour, it's a very late one. They stopped making them in 67. Although, the reflector on the front wing behind the wheel isn't standard fit.
