    January transfer window

What you seem to be forgetting, or ignoring is that we got the tactics wrong a number of times earlier in the season, playing too open for our ability, once MR tightened up the defence the results started coming. I know we had a difficult first few games in terms of the quality of opposition...

    Tonight’s games

I'm not sure it is that bad a result for us, Millwall stay in the mix now, and Cardiff also dropping like a stone.

The problem is, if either Giles or McCallum are left out of the squad it might trigger a recall, based on what their respective clubs think might happen going forward. Ideally we need to keep them both in the squad until the window closes, (if I'm correct in thinking season long loans can only...

Derby unable to pay players wages

I doubt we are sustainable as such, but if we can stay in the Championship, and if we ever find another Maddison or another Wilson, hopefully we will realise more of their true value, and Sisu benefit that way.

With Derby playing Rotherham as well we can't afford to lose

Millwall play Forest and QPR play Wycombe on Saturday, so they can't all lose.

This thread is getting ot of hand (again) I was young in an era when a school teacher would throw a board rubber around the classroom if he (very few she's) felt like it. A piece of equipment consisting of a hardwood handle weighing about 1kg. I have had my hand split with a cane more than once...

I don't normally get involved in these type of conversations, but I will say that when I was young bullying meant physical abuse pretty much exclusively, i.e. getting beaten up, but now rightly, it is taken to mean any unwanted attention, as said in other posts. I doubt very much if being...

Surely we can find someone better than Bakayoko

I think Baka has just about given up, look at the game against Charlton in October 2018, he came on with a few minutes to go and got 2 goals and 3 points for us. Charlton finished 3rd, so were no mugs. He just doesn't seem to have the determination or spirit needed to succeed. Compare that to...

    Striker?

Watching the Villa V Liverpool game on Friday, I was impressed with Louie Barry. 17 years old, and given a chance from their youth team, due to the virus hitting Villa hard. Not saying we could get him on loan, but someone like him, from a Premiership youth team could be the answer.

    Striker?

Of all those, I think Slim Pickings sounds the best bet

Surely we can find someone better than Bakayoko

Strange, He's 25 years old, 6'4", quick, athletic. in theory he has all the attributes needed but something is missing. Personally I don't blame MR for giving him a chance in spite of the stats, and the warnings we got from Walsall supporters. Clearly it hasn't worked though.

Christmas Quiz Results - And the Winner!

Thanks to Grendel for a very entertaining couple of weeks, even if I have torn most of my hair out that I have left. Maybe it comes with age, but I must confess to a certain amount of gullibility, I actually thought that we must have at some point signed a mass murdering right back, and a...
