See you at the Preston game?

Some people are mistaken if they believe NOPM is merely a strategy to starve SISU of funds? It isn't my main reason for NOPM. To me it may or may not force SISU to sell or return to Coventry. It probably won't "work". However, it will make the point that loyal supporters are not willing to...

See you at the Preston game?

I will stick to NOPM. I am going to go to at least one away game per month to keep my support "live". I will not abuse those who go to Sixfields but it is disappointing as I believe SISU and Otium are taking us for mugs. If they cannot get the Ricoh or permission to build a new stadium they...

    Not A PENNY MORE

Only the most literalist NOPM supporter would not attend a Wembley final IMO. After all, it is not a home match. OK some money would find its way to the club but that cannot be avoided. I think some are making mischief here. You cannot expect everyone to take an exact position or you end up...

    Should Baker come back in?

Baker will come straight back in. He is captain and senior player. SP said it on Saturday interview with Geoff. Young players need to be nursed through when they start their first team stint.

Time for common sense from us fans!

If CCFC ever sell out Sixfields it is safe to say they would have got double, x3 or x4 that total for the same game at the Ricoh. So, it makes zero commercial sense to be playing there. Unless that is not their short term aim? Think about it.

Time for common sense from us fans!

SISU will be laughing at us even more than now.

Stuart Linnell is a Muppet !!!

As I see it NOPM is very simple. Fans do not give any money to the club until 1) the team plays home games in Coventry Some fans add a second aim 2) SISU sell up and leave. Now, as with any campaign there will be a range of approaches from literalist/ fundamentalists who go to great...

Stuart Linnell is a Muppet !!!

I think Linnell has not yet admitted that the NOPM fans make up about 90%. He seems to give the impression that it is split pretty evenly. As such he misrepresents the feelings of the fans. Someone needs to ask him directly, "Stuart, do you accept the vast majority of fans support NOPM?" Then...

Stuart Linnell is a Muppet !!!

I agree that Linnell was not fair and balanced tonight. I stopped the car and listened very closely. Try listen again at 35 to 45 minutes in. He was sympathetic and courteous to the chap who spoke about enjoying the match at Northampton and, kind of congratulated him for being a loyal fan. When...

Council Leader Has No Intention Of Resolving City Issue - MEP

I take it this is in jest? The misogyny on here is getting as bad as GMK !) Is it possible to have a thread in which a woman is mentioned without Insult it OR Comment on whether you want to sh@g it ?

Les Reid interviewing Greg Clark today

The FL, like the FA, and other sporting governing bodies, are not accountable and open to scrutiny like other public bodies. Their relationship to governments is a peculiar one, and very convenient for them to hide behind and make their rules up as they go along. This is at the heart of our...

    Ideas to keep pressure on?

How about trying to get the Keep Cov in Cov message onto TV as much as possible. 1) Send a few on transfer deadline day to each of the big clubs training grounds or stadium wherever the cameras are with banners etc 2) Same with live Prem games when they do that vox pop thing before the game...

The end of my 35 year + CCFC "home" habit.

Much the same for me, actually. Been going for 40 years, seasn ticket most of those years. On Sunday I will be at the Ricoh. I will try to get to a few away matches but will not watch a "home" game outside the city. I will return when we are back in Coventry. Sad but disillusioned.

    Charity match update

Underestimation I think. Many people at work, on holiday, no transport to Ricoh just for a ticket will pay on the gate, including me and as many as I can drag there. We will go late morning. I will be amazed if attendance is less than 15,000 and fully expect close to 20,000.

    "Save Chip"

KEEP COV IN COVENTRY is catchy and memorable. It would make some people think about what the COV means for a second, long enough to be remembered and have an impact.

    "Save Chip"

It was John 3, verse 16. Nothing about sheep and wolves! As it has been described as the Gospel in a nutshell it has been prominently displayed at sporting events throughout the world for many years. In USA it is also everywhere you can imagine, disposal drinks cups, napkins, flyers, toilet...

    The draw of The Ricoh...

As you say it's about money. Most footballers couldn't find Northampton on a map. They just turn up at Ryton and get on a coach. This will just be an hour earlier than previously. That is all that will affect them. Exceptions will be the boys from Coventry area. I feel sorry for them.
