I just find it odd that anyone would start a thread on a player who played only the first half in a match in which the whole team was garbage. Especially as he was no worse than at least 7 others. it looks like scapegoating to me. Missing the point that all were poor in that first half.

JOB did nothing at all in second half. As stated 2 slide rule passes from Barton, both would have resulted in goals if we had a decent striker. I guess we notice different things. Barton did not have his best game, certainly, but his contribution was decent.

Barton was as good as Fleck and better than JOB and the awful Willis.
