    Home v Sunderland 12.30, Sky, £33 a ticket

Crowd looking at about 21,000 maximum. I reckon 3 pm kick off, not on SKY and at decent prices and with Blunderland allowed the full away allocation it could have been 26000 +

    John Motson

Will always be the iconic football commentator of my youth. He was the voice of football highlights. We did scoff occasionally back then at his fawning over the likes of Liverpool a bit too much but then they were the best in the 80s. RIP Motty

    Home v Sunderland 12.30, Sky, £33 a ticket

I’ve met many a Sunderland fan over the years and know quite a few out here in Spain. Got to say they are generally a bloody miserable bunch. They come across as bitter fans whereby their main rivals have always been more successful….Everton, Birmingham , Bristol Rovers all seem to have a...

    Home v Sunderland 12.30, Sky, £33 a ticket

On a Saturday 3 pm kick off, not on TV and with the full away end available at sensible prices the likes of Sunderland would bring 5000 +

    Home v Sunderland 12.30, Sky, £33 a ticket

I don’t think most people drink much of that over priced piss out of plastic glasses, more are doing exactly as you suggested before they get there.

Fair play, just being on the careful and pessimistic side with that calculation. Be nice to get 5 more wins though

    Home v Sunderland 12.30, Sky, £33 a ticket

You always counter with that argument but for probably 75% of fans having on a pint as part of a match day is sacrosanct .

    Home v Sunderland 12.30, Sky, £33 a ticket

That is arguably a very short term take on things though . Besides if say 1500 don’t go because of pricing, you need over 4500 paying the extra £8 a ticket to cover that. More people = better atmosphere, more chance of returning, more chance of buying merchandise, contributions to F & B sales...

It would take me hours to work out my viewing record going back to 1977. Would be even harder for some I imagine. I think City need about another 5 wins to ensure no end of season trouble, be nice to nick this one but it will be tight.

Nonsense……what about all the home fans who will skip this one because of cost?

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

Wasps surely won’t play back in Coventry again apart from away at Cov Rugby……not with the legacy of debt they left in the City and to CCFC. They’re just not welcome apart from by a few glory seeking dick heads from South Warwickshire and even they were only attracted previously to the prospect...

I just don’t like this crowd from the Den. In this day and age no club should need cages from the station to the away end to protect visitors . Always a pleasure to beat them and we should have at their place. They are quite successful all told though for a club with comparatively limited...

    23/24 Season Tickets

    £420 - the £20 goodwill = £400 for early bird……£450 for procrastinators 😃

    23/24 Season Tickets

If you want to do that then give them a 1000 more tickets instead of leaving acres of free seats in the away end. No need to punish everyone with higher pricing.

    23/24 Season Tickets

There has been a complete discrepancy this season between season ticket prices and match day prices. Of course ST holders should get favourable terms but the gap at times is ludicrous and not conducive to growing the fan base . Some games £15 v £33 . I’ve been on both sides of the coin but all...
