now it’s becoming a reality moving from the ricoh - Letter from EFL to CCFC

Wasps are a mobile rugby franchise, SISU a hedgefund responsible only to their investors and the fate of CCFC will decide very few votes in elections (and anyway SISU will be set up as being to blame). In the grand scheme of things we are a club (in the broadest sense) of about 10k members. Do...

What the odds - 1/4 Luton 6/1 us or something like that. Misfiring mid table team against in form league leaders at their place. Didn't realise this thread was for cheerleaders only

This column is not about wish fulfillment. We are trying to honestly anticipate the result. I reckon 2-0 to them. It could be worse - they beat Fleetwood away, we lost 3-0

If you were a Luton fan, with your side having won 5 straight games, and facing a team you easily beat at their ground, what result would you expect? A home win 3-0 I suspect. Anything better by us will be creditable

They controlled the game. They re a physically big side, we looked like a bunch of teenagers. We were also set up as 4-5-1 with both Hiwula and Shipley on the left which failed from the first minute. They were always in control, even allowing for Hiwula's effort

if they are as strong as they were at the Ricoh, which was men v boys, we'll get thumped.

I also calculate the Man of the Match and Dud of the Match. Call me sad, I know...I have time on my hands MOM 6 Sterling 5 Burge, Thomas 4 Kelly 3 Hyam, JCH 2 Willis 1 Andreu, Bakayoko, Brown, Davies, Doyle No Chaplin DOM 9 Hiwula 4 Shipley, Doyle, Chaplin 2 Sterling, Grimmer 1 Thomas, Ogogo...

Having followed player ratings religiously I gave them a break, but here is a tabulation of all the ratings given this season by player, up to and including Walsall. Minimum 3 games Rank* This was the rank after the P’boro game – so it shows how some players have gone up in our estimation –...

He gets a lot Burge has played 27 games and averaged > 7 on 10 occasions he has averaged < 6 only 6 times including 3 in Jan. The average for the team as a whole is 6.1

With an average score of 7.3 per player this was our best performance apparently, replacing Barnsley. 3 goals might count

If he just doing the day job it should be a 6. That is the average for the team and what outfield players get if they have an average game. To get 7 when no player averages that much during the season as a whole makes no sense. It means the goalie will always be your most highly rated player...

Reise Allassani joined Woking on Loan

He is small.... Better he plays there than in the under-23's - much tougher. He is not going to be first team while we have Thomas so this looks a good move for him and us. A prelude to more regular first team involvement next year perhaps?

1-0 Am I right that we have never scored more than 2 goals in a game this season. Same as last week, but Burge for Stockdale and Meyler for Bayliss

    Summary of January business

Will Wakefield play if Sterling and Thomas are fit? As Doyle and Ogogo were not 1st choice, it really means all we lost was a striker in JCH (who was appearing as a sub every game so almost counts as a regular) and gained a strong midfielder. We needed the beef in midfield so that is a plus...

Another draw. Chaplin scores in an otherwise anonymous performance by him. Westbrooke to show there will be life after Bayliss. Davies plays an absolute stormer.

    Chelsea interest in Callum Wilson

All these figures showing the permanent loss situation beg the question I have never had satisfactorily answered (for all the many attempts on here to do so). That is, apart from off-setting taxes, just what is the SISU strategy? Please do say in 3-4 sentences max , so that precludes an answer...
