I'm not kidding myself , I agree we needed another option in wide areas . I just think BTA is showing what he offers to the team as a whole and in Brau and KKH we have options before we get to January
Wow , didn't know that about their injuries . Kudos to both for playing through them .
Definitely seeing BTA at his best this season and starting to see Simms gain confidence too .
Both will be vital this season if we want automatic promotion
We had Bidwell , Woolfenden ,KKH , Allen , EMC and Simms among our subs tonight and thats without Rudoni and Dovin .
We have a very good squad , albeit light in wide areas , and one we can strengthen again in January
Dovin to come back as well . Woolfenden and KKH very good players to come in as needed and Eccles has shown in the past two games he is a very decent Championship midfielder, as if that was in doubt 🤔
One thing I noticed at the end of the game was the spirit among the players . Brau especially was high fiving and laughing and joking with all the players
Kitching is developing in to one of the best in the division. He's still aggressive but seems to have tempered it so it doesn't spill over . He leads the back line well and puts his body on the line when he needs to
What did he do wrong ?
He pressed and tackled high up the pitch , dovetailed well with Grimes and set up the fourth goal . Personally thought he brought more calmness to the middle of the park
BTA is what he is , he can look scruffy in possession but works tirelessly and will score goals.
Simms has all the tools but needs to believe in himself , hopefully his last two cameos have shown him he can play a big part this season
