When he had those back-to-back hat tricks, I did have a mild concern that whilst he was on 8 goals, he’d only scored in 4 games. Like the fact he’s now popping up with crucial goals in big games - winners v Pompey and Sunderland and the equaliser v Rotherham.

Agree, which is why yesterday I’d have started with Shipley and Allen behind Godden. Bring O’Hare on to exploit the space whilst still fresh. That said, think the plan was to stretch open that gap between their defence and midfield but we didn’t really manage it at all in the first half.
