Hold my hands up, thought he'd perhaps had a whisper in his ear about a possible move towards the end of last season, hence why he'd gone off. Clearly, he just wasn't fully fit. I was way off the mark. Good to see him back to his best, we all know what he can do when he's firing on all cylinders.

Not really F1 related, but just watched the Indycar race on Sky. Actually a really good race, guy who won it seemed to be spending more time sideways than going forward every time they cut to his onboard! Always forget this is on Sky. Must make an effort to watch it more.

I'll give him credit for one thing. He managed to blag his way into sponsoring a Formula One team. That, at least, was moderately impressive. Until he was rumbled, anyway.

I still can't quite believe today has actually happened. There can't be many days in our clubs history where so much has fallen into place at the same time. Owning the arena, putting in a dominant display to win 7-1. I'm not sure it's all really sunk in yet!
