But do you seriously think if we swapped DK with Sisu and everything was as it is now (ex Simms), Sisu would've sanctioned Sakamoto, Binks, Van Ewijk, Latibeaudiere etc? They wouldn't even sanction international scouting??

I'm pretty certain Sisu would've had issues with the signings we made (excluding Simms). Nothing over the last 15 years (maybe bar the first one or two) indicates a willingness to reinvest much/any money into new signings. We've had the odd one or two - probably just Vik and Hamer to be fair...

We've still got bills to pay though, running costs, staff wages etc.
