    Dabo

Hopefully the injury isn't too serious. It looked like groin and if so I don't think he would have been able to continue if it was a bad one. He was still able to twist and turn later in the game. I hope Robins wouldn't have kept him on if there were major concerns. The Derby player would have...

Second half they were better at enticing him inside rather than offer him the outside

Good on Hamer standing his ground when he came charging through

If that is the case, it will be to a side out of the cup as he is now cup-tied.

Disagree there. Thought Allen was a threat first half and kept working hard throughout. Deserved his start and deserves to keep his place imo

Eccles is never phased. Complimented Sheaf really well. I am amazed with 4 strikers on the bench Godden wasn't taken off earlier - baffling. Also even though Reid may not be considered ready for the first team, he surely would have been an improvement on Dabo. I really like Dabo but he had a...

Absolutely stupid foul by Shipley. Get Reid on for Dabo and Jones for Shipley

Good half. Dabo struggling against a very good player. Hyam excellent again; Clarke-Salter good; Allen causing them problems with his runs; best game for Shipley for a long time.

    Our Recent Form

We have played some of our best stuff with Allen in the team. However he doesn't get a consistent run. For me Godden and Gyokeres are more effective when he is playing. Walker and Godden together doesn't look like it is going to work.

    McSheffrey - New Doncaster manager

Good luck to him. He seems very level headed.

    Luton game

Gutted. First game in a few years I had an opportunity to watch with my Dad. I also think they would have bounced back (unless further depleted by COVID) and maybe an opportunity for Jodi Jones to have started.

Scores on the doors...get ready to duck

I agree about Maatsen having little support around him. O'Hare tends to drift to the right which enables more link up with Kane, and previously Dabo. This enables the right wingback opportunities to get to the byline. It doesn't happen so much on the left, hence why Maatsen tends to run in-field...

Scores on the doors...get ready to duck

Wilson 6 (handling and kicking was good. Thought he could have been braver for the goal and look to smother shot) Kane 7 (kept getting forward and delivering crosses. Quality could have been better) Maatsen 7 (a few rash decisions but equally made numerous interceptions and some good forward...

Wow. If ever there was a performance to demonstrate we have been punching above our weight. On saying that there is no way we deserved to lose. Just lacked the quality in final third. So frustrating. Looked like we hadn't been training over the last few weeks. Really think Jodi Jones needs to...

Hyam has been a rock that half. Need a bit of dynamism in midfield. Allen for Kelly or Sheaf after 60. Godden keeps getting his feet tangled. Think the pitch looks very slow which may be causing issues.

I see Clarke-Salter is back training with us. Seemed a small group of players though. Didn't spot Jones or Gyokeres in the training photos. No Hamer too so maybe not over his injury.

O hare doesn’t flatter to deceive

Hamer is technically very talented. He needs to improve his positional discipline in my view, but I think he is the most able of the squad to step up to the Premier League.
