    First choice midfield

What a fantastic problem to have. When was the last time we could say we weren't concerned about the midfield, or at least the impact of injuries there. I love Shipley and think he is very smart. He can see a pass but he can't, as yet, always execute it. I also love Kelly and would hate to leave...

    Squad now v last season

You only need to look at those benches to see the squad is stronger now. First match v. Southend the bench was very light. Wilson Pask Hyam Burroughs Eccles Bapaga Biamou We have used the loans well to strengthen the midfield options and cover RB.

When Coventry City Had the Most Beautiful Programmes Ever Made

That was my first match. My dad took me and I sat on the last seat in the Sky Blue stand next to the West End and nearly froze to death. I was hooked though, what a Christmas present. My late Dad would have been 98 yesterday. RIP x

When Coventry City Had the Most Beautiful Programmes Ever Made

Yes I always buy one. I have 20+ for every season back to 72/73 plus odd ones from before that. I found the Bayern Munich one (with a match ticket inside) only recently. One day I intend to find a programme fair somewhere, take a weekend break, and take all but a few special ones to sell.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

No, it isn't because the 5 teacher training days are holidays for the kids. They were taken off the teachers not the kids. The kids have the same number of holidays they had before these training days were introduced in the 1980s. FYI the only difference is that school leaders (not the teachers)...

Match Thread Coventry City v Southend

Good start. Played with nice tempo. Bit worrying how sparse the bench looks at the moment. We need another experienced midfielder even when Allen is fit and two forwards who know where the goal is. PUSB

Clothing in general is gender specific. All shops have gender specific clothing. A missed opportunity. 'Shut up and go away' is a great argument.

They will not be adults kits they will be men's kits. CCFC used to do kits in women's sizes and I think it's a pity they don't any more. I know it's because we are now in League 1 yadayadaya, but it's still disappointing. Prioritise baby kits over the women when the women's World Cup is on seems...

Well that's lovely, all demographics covered there? "Hummel will also be producing replica kits for fans from baby sizes all the way up to 4XL for adults." No, one obvious group of fans ignored again. But they can wear the clothing designed for men or children, can't they?

A question of taste or bias?

I think it is correct that we should expect and apply the same standards to all strands of political opinion. However, some people can dish it out but can't take it. Farage is particularly thin skinned like his mucker, Trump. Farage said, But if they don't deliver this Brexit that I spent 25...

A question of taste or bias?

Jo Brand is probably my favourite living comedian but on this occasion she has crossed a line and should apologise. The conventions of comedy which make offensive remarks permissible within the context of a performance and not aimed at an individual, however, make sacking her unacceptable. We...

Always need to see the full kit not just the shirt. Image posted today is Acceptable with sky blue or maybe white shorts. Must have sky blue socks or shorts whatever. It would be terrible without one other sky blue element.
