We won at Preston - FA youth cup

Isaac Moore is the big hope isn't he?

    Who takes the next penalty?

Always prefer the penalty taker to be the consistent (form and temperament) player of the team, and ideally not a striker. Someone like Sheaf or Bidwell, maybe Eccles or Kitching. Certainly not any of those front players whose form and starting place is not guaranteed. If Godden scored that...

    Mowbray Sacked

The season we had Armstrong, Maddison, Murphy etc...There were still some awful performances before the New Year. away at Walsall & Sculthorpe springs to mind. Once Maddison went in Jan (but loaned back) and we knew Fleck was off in the summer it seemed everyone downed tools. The Joe Cole...

Because they cut through us in the first half and we lost the game. We lost so many 50/50 balls in that midfield area.

    Ipswich Ratings

Any hope of a comeback was gone when Godden went through the middle instead of Simms 2nd half. Thought O’Hare did OK and Wright was lively. Allen, Sheaf and Eccles well below par. I think this was a game for Liam Kelly to start in. Against a free scoring team, but no. We got Lati and Dasilva...

Let’s bring on our 6’3 striker onto the wing because Godden is already on. Madness. Shit starting lineup, and Simms had to be on from HT. Ipswich are clearly a good team but we bottled it today. Sheaf awful. Sakamoto clearly should have started. Send Ayari back now. Wonder if Robins will be...

We started to move the ball well after 20 mins but as always didn’t commit enough players forward. If Robins switches things at half time and we get an early goal still a chance. Don’t want to see Ayari in a City shirt again and still can’t believe he started today

We should send him back then. Palmer will be back next week and we have Rus who can play that role

I thought he looked quality on his first start at Hull but he’s been anonymous in his appearances since then. Happy that we’re switching it up though, Robins obviously has a game plan

    Josh Eccles New Contract

Josh Eccles? Class. Takes no sh*t, great in the tackle and can pick a pass (through ball to Wright 1st half against Plymouth was sublime). Some of his performances at RWB have been excellent too. Don’t understand the criticism to be honest.

Fully agree. Simms has to start for Godden.

Happy they won last night, and they will think it will be an easy 3 points on Sat. I am sure Robins will be working on a plan now to beat them. Should be a really good game. 2 in-form teams.

Extra day's rest might should work in our favour. Some players looked knackered last night by the 70 minute mark (Allen and Eccles in particular). Simms for Godden, but otherwise unchanged for me. Hopefully Kasey Palmer on the bench

    Transfer targets

I know he's not anywhere near fit yet, but in his brief cameos he seems to lost a yard of pace to me. Not all players return from ACLs as they were before. I don't think O'Hare has made any kind of decision yet (despite most saying he's off). Surely the club's offer to him will be improved...

Match Thread Coventry City - Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Tuesday 28th Nov

The 4-3-3 system has worked at turning around our form, but we gave up a fair few chances last night, and against Millwall on Sat. Going to a bang in form Ipswich on Sat, on a ground we've never done well at, I would consider moving back to a wing back system, and a box midfield. Collins...

Few points... 1) Ball was out. However West Brom and Preston's goals against us recently shouldn't of been allowed, so we were due one. 2) Reminded me a lot of many games last season, where we were not great, but solid, and I always had a feeling we would win it, despite the first 15-20 mins of...

It’s about winning, and I’d rather he play the right players instead of sticking with an unchanged team out of loyalty. If Alllen or Eccles need a rest, then bring in Kelly and O’Hare. No point having a decent squad but not using it. We were good against Millwall but they had 3 or 4 great...

    Wilson or Collins?

It was plain to see that Collins has a calmer head than Wilson, certainly with his kicking, and playing it out from the back. Yet to be seen if he could make that save Wilson made at QPR though
