We all want to believe things can get better, that he can adjust , be sharper and tougher. No sane Cov fan wants to see him fail surely. All that said he’s going to have to improve considerably and up his work rate to make the grade. Even his two goals thus far were more or less hard to miss.

People need to watch that match again in full. Wright spent most of the game trying to hide amongst the Albion defenders or straying offside but when it was laid on a plate for him he was dreadful. His movement to create space is woeful. I honestly think Simms would be better in that one up top...
