The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Collapse of UK economy and chaos. Voting leave was not clever, voting no deal would be absolute stupidity. Still anything is possible. Pound collapses and I can afford to visit Cov more often. Not all bad for me.

No, I haven’t changed my mind, but a majority, according to polls, want a say on the deal.

All of them? Just criminals. They didn’t accept Romanians for 7 years after Romanian joined.

Of course it's fair. It's more like a goal declared offside having watched a video replay.

My parents told me exactly the same thing. I am now 63. It seems to be common that older people tell the young that they have it easy. When I was young......

No they didn't. You cannot change things just because 1 country doesn't like them. We have alway had the power to boot people out after 90 days. We weren't forced to Romanians and Bulgarians from day one. Germany didn't. Other countries still apply the 90 days rule. We didn't. Why?

No. The UK lost. 2016 is history. Brexit is dead. Chequers is dead. The Brexiteers, Davis and Raab, could not work out a way to leave without causing considerable damage. Back to the people. Not interested in Farage, his Fox News chums, Banks, his dark money, Liam Fox, his connection to the...

The EU will accept Barnier‘s recommendations and Guy has already praised it as the representative of the EU parliament. From the EU‘s POV trade will go on and their member state, ROI, will accept it as a solution to the border problem. If Rees Mogg can come up with a technical solution, as he...

You said ages ago „it’s just wrong“. You constantly blame everything from housing to schools to roads .. on the EU and FOM. Even when Romanians look for a better life you say that it ruins the country. Just negative. Yes, there are problems, but FOM has created more positives than negatives...

Remain could be an option if there is a referendum, which is implied by May saying that they have to accept the deal. Let’s hope for remain being an option in the referendum, should it happen. Back to the status quo on trade, but with a real end to austerity and a real investment in the areas...

Ö Rees Mogg is in charge, and he has written to his supporters asking them to revolt against the deal. May has implied that there is no guarantee of Brexit if she loses. Referendum?

Norway involved freedom of movement and you don’t like that. FOM is one of the 4 pillars that are not negotiable. No point in a meeting. No other country is bothered about freedom of movement anyway. Juncker was right to point that out.

I doubt whether EU migration would continue at that rate as average wages in former East Bloc countries are rising. More like non EU migrants will be caring for the baby boomers when they are older. Refugee quota is Merkel’s aim.

It hasn’t happened and every country has a veto on this. So a complete EU army will not be appearing soon. Still it’s a good idea.

The pound is rising because it looks like we may have a deal. Wait until we see what comes out. It is good that wages are at last rising. EU immigration has fallen by 100000 as people are finding jobs elsewhere or in their home country. The effect of 100000 leaving will not solve all the UK...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Next question. If we are going to pay to be in the customs union and have to accept EU rules and rulings, why don’t we just cancel article 50, get back in, have a say via our veto on things like an EU army or fiscal union from within the EU? This avoids at least short term pain, and depending on...
