On the face of it, bad timing for us having just let Walker go, but it does give us a chance to play Waghorne and Gyo together again. It might be just what we need.
The general consensus is 2 to 4 weeks but I understand with extreme sporting activities there is a risk of a hernia developing and longer recuperation is recommended
I doubt very much he will be back to full fitness in 6 weeks if he has had his appendix removed.
pusbccfc posted he has already had an op, not sure if he knows that for certain, but mild appendicitis, although requiring immediate A&E investigation, can sometimes be treated with antibiotics
It's starting to get a bit nasty. But I think the point is, the prospective buyers know the extent of money owed to MSD and HMRC, what they don't know is what if any, the amount will be owed to Middlesboro and Wycombe, should they win their claims
Blackburn have Middlesboro, Luton, Forest, West Brom, Millwall, Sheff U, QPR, Fulham coming up in their next 10, so some tough games. Their results could be important to us as well.
Walker has been unlucky here, Gyo's early form and Godden's form now is keeping him out.
To be honest I don't think he really suits the style of play we aspire to, high energy pressing, but he is a good player who will do well in the right circumstances.
Would be good, maybe McF successor in the summer, I still think we may see another quality signing in this window if we can place all those who are rumoured to go out.
