I think consider the group set if you are going to do regular mileage. Don’t want to start replacing due to poor mechs. If your buying Boardman brand new you would probably be looking at 600 ish so a decent second hand would give you more bang for your buck!

I got my daughter the Vicky P bike and she loves it. It really it a pretty looking thing! Would agree with a CX bike for some sort, I use mine when the weather gets poor and the tyre width is wider. You can get anything but just depends on how much you want to spend really. Cycling is a very...

    Killed by my debt

I think access to funds is so much easier as well as false information on how it works on the net. Back in the day (even up to 10-15yrs) there wasn’t the pay day loan sharking issue which was widely advertised, of course there was always ‘that guy’ who did it but young kids would hardly fall...

To be honest I think it takes a bit away from the sport. It’s inevitable that they will win unless they crash out. Just cannot compare on resources hence the push for the salary caps

Froome will win it but they could easily get G up there. The depth of that Team Sky train is too much for the field. They need to attack more but only seem to be teams like AG2 and Movistar that have a go

    Killed by my debt

I did an A level in business and it didn’t cover anything practical! They teach you how to cook a friggin pizza at school but not how to repay the huge loan you took out for the cooker!

    Killed by my debt

It’s an education thing I reckon, money is too easy to obtain hence the reliance on pay day loans and equally there needs to be clearer instructions on what could happen if failure to pay. They are usually very confusing but in this instance he didn’t have the money so put on the back burner in...

    Liverpool

Can’t stand Liverpool! Probably from their dominance in the 80s growing up but agree with the OP that they have a great chance. Put a fiver on them a few weeks back

    Killed by my debt

It was horrific that the cost spiralled so quickly on top of his zero hour contract which raped his wage each week. It was extremely powerful and certainly made me think differently about people who struggle financially and what impact that has on depression and suicide. Worth a watch as...

    Killed by my debt

Anyone just watch this? Shocking but extremely well written true story about a young lad spiralling into debt and felt no other option to kill himself. Proper tragic stuff

    Ponti

Its a strange one, normally with a youth player they are usually shining in the youth leagues and deserve the move up i.e. Bayliss, Wilson etc etc. Ponty is doing this but still doesn't seem to be getting a chance so MR clearly feels he isn't quite ready for whatever reason. I think he needs to...

    Ripped Off

We had a roofer out the other month to replace a few tiles and make good a few slipped tiles. That cost us about £200 and they were there for about 45 mins. I would say based on this, it was a bit steep. We got ours from checkatrade
