    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

The good news is that has already been considered and there are 'no questions asked' vaccination clinics for the likes of the homeless and others who may not have documentation. Suspect the problem is going to be getting the message across and will need the assistance of people in those...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Last summer the government was suggesting that moving forward we could be doing similar tests for flu and those that are sick would be encouraged to stay at home. They spoke about learning lessons from covid and applying it elsewhere. A change from the culture of it being seen as a good thing if...

Did they ever actually admit transmission in schools was a thing after months of denying it?

Might have to consider it. Although the only other doctors nearby shut down pre-coivd. Local doctors surgeries seem to be a thing of the past now which isn't great with an ageing population many of whom will be like my parents and have mobility issues. Had to go into the supposedly closed...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

You seem to the only person that thinks Labour have even the slightest chance of winning the by-election!

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

That's the problem. We saw that in the general election. The Conservatives doing shit like their fake fact checking site knowing perfectly well that an apology afterwards was insignificant, it had already had its desired impact.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Its weird. He's not a stupid bloke but seems to have no given this the slightest thought. As an internationally touring band he'll know the restrictions there are in place to tour non-EU countries, and they've been around long enough to remember the days of touring before freedom of movement in...

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

Also depends what type of signings are coming in. 3-4 genuine first teams and a couple of strong backups is better than 1 decent player and a 7 Kasta type signings.

Depends how you want to take it. The article also says 'remains confident that he should have most of his targets in place by the middle of July' and 'we are in a decent position, in fairness, in terms of what we have done and over the next few days things will start to come to fruition'. Some...

    End of Woke News?

Murdoch did plan to launch a news channel similar to GB News but binned it off once they looked at the numbers and realised it wasn't financially viable and concentrated on radio instead. And of course Fox News was on Sky for a while but multiple issues with Ofcom and low ratings saw the plug...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Even more so if what other MPs have said is true and government offices don't have CCTV installed. Some self proclaimed experts have been looking at pictures of the office the footage was from and concluded it was hidden in a smoke detector but we may well be in tin foil hat territory there.

This may be a stupid question as I don't have kids but what do you do in the school holidays or when your kids are off school sick?

    End of Woke News?

Imagine a lot of people just stick it on in the background when they're getting ready for work. Not the same as sitting down in the evening and actively watching.

    European championships 2020 thread

I can understand how we ended up with crappy template Nike and Puma kits in L1 and L2 but how they hell does something like that get signed off as the kit for a major tournament? Multiple people must have look at it and gone 'that's great, go with that'.

Not sure the data is of any use. Looking at the report the number of people who did both required tests, pre and post event, is very low. League Cup Final was 3%, FA Cup Semis 7%, FA Cup Final 17%. The overall figure for all events was only 15% completing both tests.

I had someone pile into the back of my car and got pretty bad whiplash which led to ongoing cluster headaches. You say headache and people think its nothing but if you google cluster headaches you'll find reports of people committing suicide the pain is so bad. Anyway long story short after...
