    The Ground Deal

you asked what they paid for it it was £6.5m they used the value of ACL (50m) to sell bonds in it. And loaded it with 35m debt. If anything using your analogy they re-mortgaged it. They didn’t pay the 35m back. So yeah they paid 6.5m thats what the judicial review was about - they paid 6.5m for...

    The Ground Deal

But that wasn’t the question - Wasps bought a 250 year lease for 6.5m It was revalued at the time to be 50m, this is how they got the 35m bond

    The Ground Deal

    Transfer Rumour Jerry Yates

Put it this way - I’ll start buying the King hype if McNally and Yates get over the line

    Transfer Rumour Jerry Yates

I’d imagine if the McNally rumours are true you’d be looking at least another 2m for him

    The Ground Deal

    The Ground Deal

Wasps couldn’t run a piss up in a brewery - this is why they were destroyed, they did underpay for a 250 year lease

    Hamer

As I said earlier - Didn’t Gary Breen want to re-sign on £25k a week and we wouldn’t budge from £20k

    Gyokeres

Good point - suppose I’m forgetting the position changed since last season I.E King in for SISU

    Gyokeres

Valid point - forgot about that. The one year extension was very short sighted

    Gyokeres

Not really, we could demand the 20m - sporting say right, we’re out, then tell his agent there’s an extra £5m waiting if you don’t sign for anyone until January then sign a pre-contract agreement with them. we’re not in a position to throw offers like that away. You’re then left with a sulking...

Player throwing a wobbler with 1 year left is knocking the fee he is worth to us on a daily basis

    Hamer

Might have been the case, but he’s in the driving seat in this one. It’s up to us to tempt him

    Hamer

Didn’t we do this with Gary Breen - didn’t he want £25k and we wouldn’t budge on 20?… he then left

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

There’s obviously some merit to the prices given that most championship clubs have their boxes on offer for similar price - indeed you could level the same comments to Bristol who are similar size and offer their boxes for 50k plus, or Preston who again offer them at 25k as do Blackburn
