Can’t really be arsed with them coming down, they’d just walk the league. Would much rather Burnley or Leeds.

Oh well. Shame we didn’t go for it a bit more but still been a good season regardless. Hopefully we can take a look at Huddersfield and Luton and push on next season.

We’d probably have a fair bit of competition but we’d be idiots not to go in for Callum Styles and Cauley Woodrow.

Huddersfield one of the few teams to benefit from not having their season massively disrupted by Covid. We played one league game in a month, while they didn’t miss a game. I’m sure that’s had a positive effect on their season.

They were basically playing walking football back then in comparison to the intensity of the modern game.

Have we ever actually signed a player we’ve been linked to link this? Every transfer window someone whips up and article that links us and four other clubs to a player, but I can’t remember any of them every coming to anything.

I don’t think he’s good enough to be a regular starter unfortunately. Slows the play down too often and tends to take the easy option. Would still keep him as a bench player for next season however.
