Do you believe in leaving a tip/gratuity

A group of us had dinner in Boston once, and everyone threw some dollars into the "tip" pot and we gave it to the waitress when paying the bill. She came back and asked what she had done wrong. We didn't count the "pot" and turns out we gave about 5% tip... the norm for good service there is...

    Robins on cwr

I wouldn't believe everything you read online... ;) You may be right, as I said, i'm unsure. Maybe i'm just a sceptic, and don't buy in to rhetoric of that nature as easily.

Call to Arms first game of the season.

You were doing so well until the "can't stand SISU" bit... Can you remove that and replace it with Linnell, Gilbert, The trust, previous owners etc? You can then be classified as a true sky blues fan, and will get lots of likes on here... ;);)

    Robins on cwr

As I said, i'm unsure. You really think it has sold tickets? You think anyone has changed their mind based on it? I doubt it tbh, those buying would have bought anyway. I don't think anything he says will have an effect on the Ricoh situation, those decisions are way beyond him. I'm sure his...

Les adds to the pile on

That would need him to start questioning statements from SISU, and that's just not his "thing" The whole article was attacking everyone and his dog (no problem with that, apart from his dog...) except for SISU. He plays the "it's all about CCFC" card, yet he has kept hold of what could have...

    Robins on cwr

Clearly, he doesn't want to be at the Ricoh anyway then. Wonder what his comments will be if a last minute deal to stay there is done? I originally thought it was good he had his say, but not sure now. Maybe he should have just kept his head down and got on with it quietly.

Les adds to the pile on

You see, that's what I just don't get. He's "sat on" lots of information for years and years. He leaves CT on principle, but his principles then seemed to desert him. weird. I recall he got pulled up many times on twitter for BS, and instead of producing some "evidence" he just blocked people...

Les adds to the pile on

definitely a more balanced piece from him, Good to see he blames all sides now, and they are all held in "abject contempt" The Council, Wasps, Councillors, the Trust, Duggins, CWR, Linnell, Hoffman's consortium, previous custodians of CCFC, David Conn, Gilbert..... Don't think he missed anyone...

Mine too. Wood End Primary for a year, then Bell Green Primary when it was built Used to knock about Riley square without a worry back then, although had to be careful in Woolies as one of our group was a thieving toe rag who used to get caught a lot. Guilty by association, so was always...

LAtest lagal action (that can't be halted)

An intent to cease legals may have been enough for Wasps to commence talks, and climb down from their previous position of "no talks" and then find out exactly what everyone is prepared to do, re a deal. That's when the real "meanings" of what everyone wants or can agree to kick in. That's when...

LAtest lagal action (that can't be halted)

nick, you've told us ad infinitum that they did this last year without an agreement. However, i think his point is that when it came to the discussions, the understanding of the agreement (that no-one has seen btw) may have been different. It's a possibility, that's all

    The Royal Family

I don't think my parents ate crap food, most everything was from the garden. Old man died at 47... Best Health care probably has a lot to do with it, although some of Henry VIII's wives didn't live too long... ;)

LAtest lagal action (that can't be halted)

Probably right. Although didn't Wasps have that same clause last year, and talked anyway?

LAtest lagal action (that can't be halted)

No, i'm not, which is why I was asking if anything had come out about it. thought maybe one side may have leaked it if it helped their cause...

LAtest lagal action (that can't be halted)

Yes, I had seen that one, but that's what Wasps were asking for. I saw another one where SISU said they would agree, but with caveats about the council supporting them on a development, and wasps agreeing a medium term arrangement. Has a definitive agreement that SISU signed been published...
