    Trust Meeting

I would think any suggestions would be welcome on that one ;) tbf, when this all kicked off, they probably were representing the majority going head on with SISU. As you say, bridges get burnt going that way.

    Trust Meeting

It was my first meeting for a few years (an excuse for not asking every question you can think of..), and tbh, we did take up a large part of the "open to the floor" section as it was. But, a worthwhile question to ask.

    Trust Meeting

We all know, from our viewpoint, the trust have made many mistakes. We didn't go into why they have made them, only highlighted them to hopefully bring some change. Again, time will tell.

We raised that as well, saying it was a serious misjudgement on their part. David E agreed. Just to add there were 4 of us there raising these points.

    Trust Meeting

Well, as long as somebody gets involved to make the counter argument, hopefully it will ensure that the trust realise that not everyone thinks the hate should only be aimed at SISU.

    Trust Meeting

Perception of the trust from the fans was one of the key points NW & myself put over at the meeting, and repeated it a good few times. David Eyles, the new chairman, definitely appeared to take that on board. Time will tell if that changes anything of course, but like NW, i'm prepared to wait...

Phew, That Was A Near Miss !

I didn't know the lad until we all went on holiday. He was mates with a good friend of mine and came along, and he told the story then, confirmed by my mate and a couple of others, as I didn't believe it.

Phew, That Was A Near Miss !

I can't remember all the gory details, but he'd hit his head (no helmet back then) and when he finally got a doc to look at him, I think his heart had stopped.. (just long enough for the doc to say he's a goner) He eventually healed OK, and no lasting damage.... apart from the nightmares.. ;)

Phew, That Was A Near Miss !

Not me, but a mate from my teens. He had a motorbike accident, and was pronounced dead. He woke up on the slab in the morgue....

What Type Of Concert Person Are You ?

First festival was Reading in 1973. Me and a mate hitched down there, including getting a lift in a van where the driver kept pointing out all the places he'd had accidents..!! Great line up although pretty expensive... ;) Many more since, including Download, but mostly Glastonbury. (I've also...
