I would bring Binks and Torp on for Kitching and Sheaf. The way the ref is handing out yellows, one more foul and they could be off. Maybe also O'Hare for Wright, with Palmer moving to the left.

Such a shitty booking system. Surely they could make it easier to book on a smartphone. Took me 45 minutes to get two tickets together, further away from the pitch than I would like. Happy it is booked though. Wembley here we come.

Oh my word. What a fantastic team performance! So many top, top performances. Simms and Wright combination was superb. Bobby Thomas was phenomenal.

Impressive how composed we have been. Love the way Eccles really holds his own in big games.

Did really well there. Just a shame we haven't taken at least one chance. Sheaf has shown his premier league class. Not sure he can play 90 minutes plus. We will be vulnerable if and when he comes off.

Thought his comments in the announcement were great.

    Callum O’hare

He has lots of good attributes. However, his lack of pace may hold him back at a higher level. He looks like he is on a treadmill when sprinting over a distance.

It would be interesting to see how much ground he covers compared to O'Hare over the last month. I am sure there is not that much in it. And if we are going to win it, we are going to need a bit of magic from somewhere. Without Sakamoto, Palmer is probably the next most capable.

I don't think O'Hare warrants starting ahead of Palmer on recent form and hope he doesn't.

Take 3 points from a mediocre performance. Great finish from Wright, decent contribution from Eccles, and great to see Sheaf back - quality shines.

I would be tempted, partly due to the yellows, to take off Kelly and Palmer HT and replace with Van Ewijk and O'Hare (Eccles moving to midfield).

Can't play much worse than that but much more intensity after the goal. Torp looks lost.

I remember last season or one before Hamer crediting Lawrence for at least one set piece goal. Seems a calm, steady personality.

I take your point but I don't mark players performances differently if we are up against a top team compared with an average team so likewise against a poor team.
