I know it's just a friendly but that was very impressive. Thought Allen was excellent. So composed. Everyone contributed. Palmer and Torp looked sharp coming on. Nice to see the young lads playing with confidence. As for Dovin, not really tested but his distribution was exquisite.

Sometimes it seems some people expect we should have a squad of star players. This is for the likes of the Man City's of this world. We do need some stars but we also need steadys. It is how they knit together that counts, which includes attitudes. Latibeudiere imo is a steady with a good attitude.

Would be nice for Elliott Betjemann to get a few minutes

No. And he didn't get a good run playing in a 4. He was carrying an injury for much of the season end. Maybe they feel he is suiting the new system better at the moment.

He is one of best in the air and for a centre back isn't very tall. This would suggest he has a good spring. He was our stand out player beginning of last season, albeit in a back 3. He is decent on the ball.

If he could get back to his Norwich days form, definitely. When he played against us he was at another level. Robins was also singing his praises.

Impact injuries are unavoidable unfortunately. However, considering we are now supposedly using evidence-based approaches for injury prevention, it is concerning that Torp and Rapha's injuries have been put down to being foreign players, not used to training demands of the Championship. Surely...

The fact that Robins has paired Latibeudiere with Binks again and knowing that Kitching will be suspended for Stoke game, I wonder if he sees Latibeudiere ahead of Thomas at this stage?
