Be careful what you wish for.

I meant huge in relative terms to non league , apart from that the total and utter nonsense surrounding this club for years has just pushed thousands over the edge. I would imagine many would return at the thought of their club being returned to them, in whatever form.

    No accounting for the scabs!!

Iv'e been to SJP and watched us beat Newcastle in front of under 14k, i watched us beat Man u when only 30k of the red army were there, Chelsea played us with only 9k watching and the great Leeds fans numbered under 11k during poor times. Success breeds a fan base and lets face it apart from...

    No accounting for the scabs!!

And we have and still would if we only had a couple of years of success.

Be careful what you wish for.

I agree, in the unlikely event of being liquidated a new Coventry would have huge support , so much so that there is no way we would start 9 leagues down. All hypothetical though !

    No accounting for the scabs!!

A shit supported club !!! A club that has been Feckin shit for most of my 50 years, a club that has had no top 6 finish for over 40 years, a club that has and still is taking us for granted year after year ,yet still averaged 10k in the 3rd div. I would call that great support !!!!

    No accounting for the scabs!!

Wimbledon moved to SP for a short while ( 12 years) before realising they were never going to get permission for a new ground , the rest you already know. People say there is no comparison with them, but i beg to differ.

    David Bell to Notts County

Sorry mate but his injury record should worry you slightly more than a bit ! He'd be ok if he played more often but the fact is he never does , shame really because there is a decent player in there somewhere !!

    David Bell to Notts County

Yep 8k off the wage bill , but do you really think it will be put back into the squad ? No chance whatsoever !!

Just found this on my Facebook pages. Love it!

TBH that is what it sounds like as well, thousands of people sitting together all making out they know what the feck is going on , when in reality they havn't got a clue !! ( cue jokes about our home crowds )

    Mathieu Manset

You stole my thunder, DM record before signing for us was abysmal , but what chance have we of repeating that ?

    Ricoh to pull plug ??????

Sorry to say but if the unlikely happened and they did pull the plug ACL would be finished. Although to do it would still cost them a percentage of the contract !

When will the badges be coming off the Ricoh & heading for Northampton then?

It was anything but friendly at that time, it's just that it was all behind closed doors.

Gavin Henson gets knocked out in bar

Couldnt have happened to a nicer fella !!!

    SISU still after the Ricoh?

Problem is the local council do not make the final decisions, that is made by higher authorities. Regardless of what ccc or we ourselves think ,there would have to be genuine reasons for saying no and not just that we dislike them !
