If players like hillsner, jobello, kastaneer, hamer, Dabo were a gaurenteed success they wouldn’t be coming to us. It’s a calculated risk but currently more are paying off than failing.

Nice to have 4 quality centre halves with pask and drysdale looking promising too but Rose is the best of the lot for me, excluding ostigard as it’s too early too say. Less than a year on his deal he won’t stick around if he’s 4th choice for too long and there will be a lot of championship...

Defenders scoring is a bonus but wouldn’t be the sole reason for keeping a defender in a team, I agree fadz experience and leadership is important especially with the absence of Kelly but I think our back 3 will be rose hyam and ostigard before too long

Wonder what he will do now, another year in Chelsea academy would be a waste but not sure a championship team would take a punt on him after hardly playing for Wigan last season, maybe a European loan. I’d take Dujon here if Dabo is prized away from us, think he’d suit this system.

You’d imagine this lad will cost atleast 2 million. We don’t have that sort of money to spend on a striker in case walker or godden get injured.

We’ve just spend a rumoured £1M on Walker and Godden has scored 2 in 2. We currently play a 1 striker system, I’d be massively shocked if there’s anything in this.

I did and one sub par performance doesn’t mean he ‘needs more time’. He’s played nearly 2 full games against Solihull and Gillingham and would be in full training since.

Every player has their price it’s how we have to operate. If we have a good season Dabo, hamer, ohare and others could make us a lot of money in a year’s time and help us to establish ourselves at this level and push on.

Barnsley will 100% be a harder task than QPR, looked very good last season when the new gaffer came in.

They are both very different players, can see MR picking either depending on opposition or bringing Giles on for McCallum when we’re chasing a goal.

People need to trust MR. If this was a bad deal financially then we wouldn’t be doing it.
