Palmer definitely had a shot on target with the outside of his boot when he should have scored - defender cleared the goal-bound shot.

Agreed, and it means we're pinning them back so the likes of Maatsen aren't getting forward.

Superb build-up from Sheaf and Vik - Palmer either should have shot earlier or played in Norton-Cuffy who was completely free outside him. Outstanding from Vik - what a talent.

Manuel Benson on the right for Burnley is rapid - reminds me of Aaron Lennon.

Playing well. Bidwell gets stick for not getting forward but he ran the length of the field there to get beyond Sheaf who lost possession when he could have played the overlapping Bidwell in for a cross straight across goal.

Watching that chance back, Allen really should have done better. Good tackle by Palmer to free Vik who played it across for Allen. Hamer was running on to it too although might not have made it.

Norton-Cuffy v Maatsen could be a good watch. Thought Maatsen was excellent for us and has a bright future.
