Plymouth have done well at home against the top sides. This game won't be anywhere near as easy as many think. I'd happily take a point.

That's exactly what Wilder said before they lost to Plymouth 😂

We have vastly improved under Lampard. This is without a squad he has shaped. I'm sure we will be stronger next season than this one. Of course I would take promotion this season otherwise why even bother playing. Yes there's a good chance a player or two will be sold. But they won't be sold...

Some of us will be realistic. Many of us won't be. Many have never seen us play top flight football. It was bad enough last time and there wasn't th massive amount of money back then. I'd just want us to compete in some way and not get hammered each week.

Another take on what is going on. They could well struggle in every way. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cgjlnpw3wxdo

    Joe Edwards Red Card

They are not going to appeal for the same reason no action would be taken against the defender. There was contact. Even Stevie Wonder said it wasn't a penalty. But the FA would take the side of the ref just because they can. The dive got them the winning goal and would open up a can of worms...

It's the same rules for everyone. The idea was to stop clubs from going under when they get relegated with a massive wage bill from being in the Prem and not being able to pay the wage bill. We have spent years moaning about the parachute payments but as soon as we get promoted it will be seen...

They became entitled when they won the Prem. They suddenly thought they became one of the big boys. But it all went wrong very quickly. We only have to go back one manager to go back as far as League 2. Playing out of our city twice. Not knowing for sure if we would even have a club in the...

It isn't as easy as just spending money. The higher up the pyramid you go the more worthless spending money is. You need more than just better players that got you promotion. I would fancy our chances of giving it a good go. We have a manager who was one of the best players the Prem has ever...

They are not going to change the way they play that has been getting them wins just because they need to win. The system they use works. It was good enough to beat Sheffield United recently. Or how about their 3 home games on the bounce in less than 2 weeks where they beat WBA, Liverpool then...

Their season was messed up by the Rooney fiasco. Not good away from home but at home they're much better and have taken some big scalps. Some people could well be in for a surprise.

This one is my least confident of a win out of our last 3 games. I'm with my son in law who supports Plymouth. Looking forward to the game but their strength is our weakness. He says they sit back and hit quickly on the break. Says they play best against sides that play a high line. Don't...

Plymouth play decent at home. Hardie and Bundu are their players to look out for. They will be playing 5 at the back and sitting back. We will have to be very careful playing a high line as they dink it over the top for Bundu to run on to. He is rapid. MVE had better be ready for him. This...

I'd put Rudoni before Hamer. Hamer is at his peak now. Rudoni is still improving and is only 23. I wouldn't even consider swapping Rudoni for Hamer even with a few million chucked in on top. His energy levels are unreal. Effort always 100%.

    Sheff Utd at it again

Glad he's been overlooked. Less clubs will be looking at signing him. Hope he stays under the radar until next season. But he is best staying with us for at least another season. Great manager to learn from and needs to be playing games and not just a number in a squad.

Yes it's true 😂 One of the reasons I want Sunderland over 2 legs then them at Wembley. They're bottle jobs in the playoffs.

Match Thread Coventry City - West Bromwich Albion Match Thread - Friday 18th Apr

What really helps is our players get a great backing most of the time from us. It helps the confidence and pushes them on. Both Robins and Lampard have made a point of it. But look at what happened before when the crowd turned on Collins. It smashed his confidence. Good to see it is back and...
