He hasn't been out that long. It's just like one of them stupid breaks for a.non important international game. We will benefit more from Thomas and MVE having a rest than anything else. Perfect time for Lampard to bring them back.

I will want to know what the excuse is for only winning by 2 goals. We should smash them.

He has rested a couple knowing that today is the day whatever happened before. Wise move going into the playoffs.

I've gone against us the last couple of games. This time I'm 100% for the win. Taking off the Sky Blues specs it was so predictable. Just like today's game is. Time to send the Geordie lot home with their tails between their legs again 😁

They will be crapping themselves knowing just one mistake finishes their season. Or place your mind to where we play a bogey team. We're theirs 😂😂😂 Don't think they've ever won at the CBS arena. Two seasons ago was fun 😁 I can't believe that such a big game today and I'm so calm. Just like last...

We don't need to worry about what might happen if we don't win. We will win. Their style of play suits us. We've won every game at home this year except for Leeds and Burnley. And against Burnley we nearly became the only side all season to score twice against them. I know there's no such...

    Hamer - Championship PotS

There's been several. He has been out several times for muscular injuries. He also has been subbed off a fair few times. Seems like his heart isn't there like it was with us. He still apologised to us when he scored against us last time. Very good player but would have been better suited 40...

We're just too good for Middlesbrough at home. Certainly going to be a party atmosphere. All I ask for is an early goal to settle our nerves and go on from there.

Touring around France looking for the bigger carp. You can get some decent specimens from the rivers but I hit a big catfish. It put me off 😂 They swallow 30lb carp for a snack 🥵 Took my little boy yesterday for the first time. Both of us caught into double figures but best less than 25lb. The...

Myth? The one good thing about Collins is his kicking ability. We play the ball to him frequently. A few games ago he helped set up our winning goal in injury time. Maybe you have forgotten how bad Wilson is with the ball at his feet because he hasn't played for so long. I'm not trying to...

Enjoy the debate on why Wilson is better than Collins. I'm off fishing to relax. That's unless I finally get my PB carp today. Still after my 1st 50lb after coming close last year a couple of times. We're going to do it. Flights and hotels booked. Staying until the last week of the month. Beat...

It doesn't. But Wilson constantly giving possession away doesn't help either especially as Lampard likes us to play possession football.

I'd put Collins in for this game for two reasons. We're at home and it's against Middlesbrough. The way they play is good for our high line tactics. It also works well against other sides like Sunderland. But if we get Sheffield United in the playoffs I'd want to put Wilson in and go more...

I'm with you there. I'd prefer the GK with less mistakes but keeping the ball also keeps pressure away. It's quite simple. Neither are good enough for what Lampard needs.

People will want to know the reason why but will ignore the obvious. Wilson's kicking can be very poor. He frequently gives the ball away. Look at how many of his kicks go out for a throw in. He will also make mistakes but not as many as Collins. Collins makes more mistakes but his kicking is...

Dublin was the best striker I have seen play for us. Also an excellent defender for us.

I fully agree. But the choice is down to Lampard. Play Collins who always has a mistake in him and hope we keep the ball up the other end of the pitch or keep control of the ball, or play Wilson and change the way we play because his ball control with his feet isn't good enough.

It would help if his decision making wasn't so poor. He frequently seems to be stuck in two minds then does neither.

It's very simple to me. Say what you like about Collins but he is very good with his feet for a GK. The way Lampard likes us to play needs a GK who is also good with the ball at his feet. We saw last game he is a capable GK but the problem is he is never far away from making a mistake/wrong...
