But not the equivalent tickets free for the match after.

Victory for the City of Coventry yesterday

200,000 of which probably don't pay any council tax anyway.

    Wasps do have the veto

At this moment we will play on saturdays , but when they get the other 50% and their feet completely under the table expect us to be playing second fiddle. (in time the seats and everything within will be wasps colours)

Worrying aspect from last Sundays game

Only 3 leagues rupert, 2 promotions for them and 1 relegation for us would see us playing a league game. Very depressing stats to be honest.

Worrying aspect from last Sundays game

No because we are a 3rd division club and although teams in the top 2 divisions rarely get beaten by non league sides ,defeats to 3rd and 4th division teams are plentiful.

    ACL chairman forced to resign

If he has only been asked to resign he could tell them to f..k off. Make them sack him for some obscure reason and then we would have the 1st court action of the wasps era.

    O'Brien Threatens Teenager

My recollection of 70s and 80s bouncers was that you didnt have to say a word to get your teeth kicked in. Most were no better than the shit they were trying to keep out.

This made me smile as I was there! better times

My favourite game of all time. I still watch both legs on the dvd I have. I was in the west end that night and I was sure the whole kop was given to west ham, could be wrong though.

BBC's MOTD's disgusting comment about CCFC.

Painful memories of having the piss ripped out of us travelling home that day. At least we still have the glory of the highest placed team to be Beaten by a non league side . I have a feeling that record will stick forever.

Wasps officials have held talks about making Ricoh permanent home

Disgusting is a polite way of describing it , I find it quite unbelievable that lucas and her cronies were so against ccfc moving to sixfield's yet seem to be ok with uprooting a team from 100 miles away. Total absolute hypocrisy of the highest order.

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

I have not read all the comments so if I am repeating I apologise now, but I was under the impression going back a few years that should anyone purchase the arena they would also have to fund the building of hotels etc in the surrounding area.

Cov RFC do NOT want a merger with Wasps

So Cov rfc is a dead duck is it ? try telling that to the people who are slowly turning it around from the shell that was left 4 or 5 years ago. I cannot think of a more feck you i'm alright jack attitude towards one of our own citys sports teams. In my opinion, should we sell any part of the...

    16,000 where were you?

without even looking i can say that the 70s had huge crowd differences for whoever the opposition were, it is nothing new. What has changed though is that Coventry is no longer employing all its residents on very good money ie car manufacture. One thing is nobody used the word bandwagon nor did...

    16,000 where were you?

I to was expecting a few more today but i can understand reasons why there wasnt. I am willing to stand for hours waiting for tickets because i make the choice to do it out of habit and blind loyalty ,not pressure from others. The fans there today were mostly hardcore supporters ,the very same...

    16,000 where were you?

Most of the comments about non attendees are PROBABLY from either well paid people on 30k or spotty oinks who dont actually pay for their own ticket yet. It cost me the best part of £50 for me and my 2 sons today and that was just tickets and travel , people cannot afford to follow football 100%...
