    Team for tuesday

It was odd in the first half that they rarely played the ball to Wright. They played it across the back line to Kitching or Grimes and then they cut back and moved it to Van Erwijk or Rudoni. Then when Wright did receive it he was bullied off it. I can't imagine that he can't get up for a game...

    Team for tuesday

He wasn't on for long and put I perfect cross in to Wright who should have hit it first time. I don't think he lost the ball once. Can't think of when he had an opportunity to shoot?

    Team for tuesday

I am not sure Sheaf and Grimes works at the moment. Eccles would be similar. I think we need to bring Jamie Allen back in alongside Grimes. We just need more energy and to move the ball quicker, which Allen does. If Mason-Clark is match fit I would start him for Wright.

Don't get the criticism of Thomas-Asante. He wasn't given the ball enough, despite making some excellent runs. He was a pest for them and they got lucky with the way the ball dropped at times. He set up a great chance for Sheaf. He did more than Simms has managed recently and gave far more to...

Agree with this. The only difference is I would drop Wright for EMC. He was second to everything. Maybe he will have his one decent performance in five but apart from his hattrick game, he has been awful since his injury comeback.

Maybe Haji Wright should have started... Oh he did. Awful show from him. Ben Wilson poor but that was always the risk. Sheaf not great.

Thomas-Asante has done okay. He looks lively and set up the best chance for Sheaf.

Comfortable but need to step it up second half. We can move it quicker, particularly to Wright. Rudoni having to come wide to receive the ball but then little movement to make it useful.

    Callum O'Hare

Thought O'Hare was the best I have seen him play for them. He is very good at the quick pass and move. He would make a great 5 aside player. Just struggles with the longer ball and has very little pace. This limits his role within teams.

I would probably start Simms. If you are going to end a barren spell, no better than against former team.

    Injury Updates

I hope so but it is a coincidence to get cramp in the very muscle that was strained. Unless it was the other leg of course.

    Injury Updates

Unfortunately Thomas was struggling with his calf before leaving the field, doing a calf stretch. Unlikely to have been cramp, given this is the injury he was recovering from. Hopefully he hasn't worsened it

    BTA > Simms

Ran the left channel very well and showed good close control at pace. Not something I associate with Simms. We haven't seen enough of him in the 9 but to me he looks a better player. I get the argument for him coming off the bench too though.

Stomach churning already. Excited and nervous in equal measure. A good start and tempo will help. No need to go crazy but I hope we are not too cagey. We are much better when we play at tempo.

If there was a coordinated and collective blowing air, would it reach the pitch? Just thinking if a Boro player shoots and everyone blows, would it take the pace off?

    Brad Collins Poll

We will reach the playoff final and in the penalty shootout he will make the decisive penalty save and will be the hero. What a story that would be.

Not feeling confident as I think we will have a thread bare defence or players carrying injuries. Hopefully the crowd will make a difference. Been a while (Sunderland) since we have seen a decent performance from a forward. Need to see more.

    Matchday Rewind Coventry City 0 - 1 Everton | Sat, 01 Aug, 1987

I threw my Cov flat cap over the fence. Dave Bennett stood on it. I managed to get it back with a stud mark. Still have the cap but the mark has disappeared now.
