Godden played a lovely flicked pass to Dasilva then. Dasilva played it towards the penalty spot and it would have been a cracking one-two but Ayari hooked it over first time with Godden completely free behind him.

I really want him to do well but can't agree with the above. He's been played pretty much clean through twice - first time he failed to hit the target, and the second he let the ball get stuck under his feet. I don't think he looked fully in control in either situation. Obviously hope he finds...

For those not watching, Simms just blazed a great chance over the bar. Godden's superb dummy took Clarke-Salter out of the game, leaving Simms a clear run on goal. He checked back inside and shot over. Should have hit the target at least.
