    All purpose cricket thread

Been some great games. England in the semis next Tuesday, 1pm start. Sky have been putting all the games up on YouTube live except the England games sadly. Can't imagine there's a huge number of people taking out subscriptions to watch England U19s.

    Bin Strikes

What's that all about? The council own a commercial waste company but its not the company that empties the bins. Guess the next suggestion will be privatising the service and guess who will get the contract.

If the first question was what is the Arnold Clark Cup I'd be out, never heard of it!

    Hilsner Loaned Out!

Its an odd one. Normally with players who get signed at a decent level but never make an appearance you hear rumours that they don't put the effort in or have an attitude problem but that defiantly doesn't seem the case here. Must have something to offer to have got signed more than once...

    McNulty Article

If players choose the money, and who can blame them, they can't really complain when it doesn't work out. You have to be confident in your own abilities but we've all seen plenty of players leave knowing there was little chance of them getting minutes with the team they are joining. And of...

Sad that this still happens but good work by everyone involved to deal with it so quickly.

    Earlsdon

Very true Pete. You can't continually cut, or even completely remove, services to support people and then be surprised when that causes issues down the line. Obviously we don't know all the details of this horrible event at the moment but we do seem to be experiencing horrific events that...

    Away priority from next season

I would assume because people could argue they'd purchased a season ticket based on it giving them priority access to away matches. Not an issue if they announce the changes to the rules before selling season tickets for next year.

Can't be the same bloke can it? After all that surely they wouldn't have just let him out to do the same again.

    Southampton tickets

Think they need to be careful not to prioritise non-season ticket holders over those putting money into the club so essentially you'd go ST holders that go to away games > season ticket holders > those that go to away games > memberships etc.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Just another one of those huge coincidences isn't it. The Met have been asked for months now to investigate and have refused. As soon as a report is due to be published all of a sudden there's going to be an investigation and the report can no longer be published!

    8 points better off

We're only halfway through the season so if you average that out over a whole season that would have been finishing 7th last year. Of course that relies on the second half of the season being similar to the first which is far from guaranteed, not least as we don't know the position we'll be in...

    Away priority from next season

Do a lot of people on here never buy tickets for anything but city games? Genuine question as some of the things being thrown around on here as outrageous things for the club to do are standard practice at pretty much all events. Maybe I'm just jaded from having spent a decade working in that...

    Southampton tickets

Can remember turning up to places like Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs on the day and paying on the gate, no chance of that now!

    Southampton tickets

I would be amazed if the onsite time isn't automated and the club have entered 10am on the system but a server time somewhere is slightly out. Unless this is the first time someone has ever attempted to buy tickets for any event they would surely know that its a common occurrence. Also...

    Southampton tickets

There's literally an article on the website saying they're bringing in a priority scheme next season for those that attend away games regularly which has been copied on to here followed by loads of posts saying we should have a priority scheme :ROFLMAO:

    Southampton tickets

How many people were queuing at the ticket office? Maybe they kept enough back to make sure everyone who went there and queued got what they needed and then put those left on sale online.
