Thanks for that mate, just having a read Think we can throw out the idea that the ref has no choice but to give a yellow card for the offences listed under ‘a player is cautioned if guilty of’ as the list contains multiple things we see happen over and over again every game without a caution...

Nice one, you could have posted that a few pages back :ROFLMAO: Which rule does it come under? Would have thought law 12 which seems to have things about substitutes but can't spot it there. Admittedly I'm skimming sat in a line of traffic!

There's zero chance of us appealing anything, there's not even a process to do so, and even less chance of anyone admitting a mistake was made. But that's why there's so much frustration at officials. We see rules applied incorrectly & inconsistently and then the referees union closes ranks...

    Wembley allocation

Would guess it will be pretty wide ranges. Once you've done season tickets how many people will be left with, for example over 200 points. You could probably do them all rather than needing to break it down into 100 point bands

Why would a substituted player require the referees permission to re-enter the field of play. I'm struggling to think of an example of that happening in a game. Would this not be more applicable? that only states appropriate disciplinary action, not an automatic caution, and as others have said...

    Wembley allocation

the club have put out step by step instructions on how to add the ability to buy tickets for your mates from your own account and, assuming its one per season ticket holder, there's no reason for a mad rush as there will be plenty to go round.

Why would a law that applies to 'a player who leaves the field of play to correct or change equipment' apply in Palmers situation?

    Forest Point Deduction

Like so much in football the issue is the lack of transparency and, taking things at face value, an inconsistency is how the rules are applied and punishments issued

If that’s the case it means rather than it being a binary ‘must be given a card or the ref gets in trouble’ there’s an element of discretion the ref can apply

    Semi Final Dates

They played a game, possibly an England game, with NFL markings still visible on the pitch so they could get a quick turnaround. They may have no choice but to do something similar, there’s a limit to how long they can delay the game

How can it possibly take that long? Surely it’s just a case of asking whoever has first pick which match they want for tv and then it’s job done

    Manchester United the easiest draw?

Interesting, is that the only law that covers it because that blows the argument that the ref had no choice and would have been in trouble if he didn't book him argument out of the water.
