To play devils advocate if King made all season tickets in the ground £100 and they sold out immediately but only 25% of people turned up every week because they now perceived it to be low value and fine to skip multiple games given the price they've paid would you view it the same?

Other industries, airlines and hotels spring to mind, get around this issue by overbooking. Sure there would be no complaints at all if people were turning up to games and not being let in because too many tickets had been sold in a particular area.

I'll be honest. it's never even crossed my mind to wait until the fixtures are published to decide if I'm buying or not But if thats what the majority to surely in this day and age you do so with an expectation that fixtures being moved is highly likely, not like its something Sky suddenly...

I don't see any business case for that unless the entire ground is sold out week in week out. It's being implemented here as demand far outstrips supply. It's supposedly sold out yet we can all see loads of empty seats even on Saturday 3pm kick offs. What would be the benefit to blocking people...
