Weirdly looking forward to it. Variety is the spice of life and all that.

Biggest worry here is that means Godden starts. Rose and/or McNally will know more than anyone that they are in for a quiet afternoon. I like Godden, but he’s off form and not contributing enough.

Simms is a good footballer and will become a big player for us. People made their minds up weeks ago that he wasn’t good enough and they won’t change them now. Give him a consecutive run of games and let’s see how he goes. I strongly suspect his form, confidence and performance will continue...

Simms and JDS being praised.

There’s certainly question mark defensively, but JDS is an asset offensively. His ability on the ball and technique in tight situations is great.

This will be hard to take it if we lose. They are good on the counter but we’ve been wasteful with the final ball and even post subs some bad decision making. Wright needs to back himself more around the box like he did on Sunday when he hit it first time.

How did that go in? Has to be a deflection surely? Otherwise it’s horrendous keeping.

How long until someone moans be scored first time? Simms will come good and be a big player for us. Although his celebration was shit tbf.
