‘We should’ve gone 2-0 up’ is a tired and moot argument. We got pummeled in the second half and eventually caved because nothing was done to relieve the pressure. The game came to an inevitable end. It was shameful because we bottled it.

Granted, we made it a contest in the first half. Second half we offered next to nothing as we conceded way too much possession, sat too deep and were unable to hold the ball up to relieve the pressure. The thing that’s most damning in that game was; despite being 0-1 up on 90 minutes, it...
