Naismith is 30 and probably offered good money and long term contract which is too good to turn down. Same as the Matty James deal. Doesn’t seem a very sustainable way to run a football club.
I think their current team would be way off. Likes of Batth, Wright and Evans only play for Sunderland because a championship didn’t want them. They do however have the money to improve
The way the rest of the title winning squad have stepped up I don’t see why he can’t. Maybe it’s case of a player suiting a club/manager. He’d be available cheap and think he’d want to come here. I’d take him as cover for Hamer and Sheaf.
Are people forgetting the absolute shite we were wearing from about 2000-2017? Everyone’s entitled to their opinion but I’d rather a bespoke kit remade from our past than something of the JD website with our badge on.
