Why do you think Robins can’t see what the average fan can ?

Linked with him in the past so could have some truth. I don’t think he’s better than Wright or Tats but would provide competition.

Every ambitious team has a top keeper relative to the league they are in ….. it’s such a critical position for giving the whole team confidence …. If money is tighter this summer keep Bidwell and use that planned upgrade money to buy a proven keeper

Amazes me the number of fans who think our defence is poor yet don’t want Bidwell to leave and want us to sign Binks. I don’t think just changing Collins is the answer ….

He played Right Back and didn’t get beaten once … he provided an attacking option, although his crossing needs work. He provided defensive cover when they countered.

Can’t agree with the comments on MVE. I thought we were bang average all over the park today but Binks, MVE and Sheaf were the only 3 that I’d give 7’s to.

More likely Robins sees what we see … a player that flatters to deceive and his numbers aren’t good enough and he gives the ball away far too often.

I think @Saddlebrains suggested that Robins and Doyle didn’t part company on great terms but I could be wrong ….

We need the best and most proven defensive coach we can attract. We are not a charity providing a retirement plan for ex players.

I think it is clear that Robins is happy for Wilson and Moore to move on. I can’t ever recall seeing a keeper make as many errors that lead to goals as Collins over the last few weeks and retain their place. My gut feel is that Collins will be the number 2 keeper next season and Robins sees no...

Vik and Hamer ….. it was well known within the club that both would move on last summer unless we were promoted

I think he can and should be better than Palmer too. My point is that he hasn’t been. Whether that is just form, attitude, or other issues we don’t know.
