Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Hull City Match Thread - Saturday 11th Mar

From the posh seats, it looked like he was clipped on his ankle as he went into the box. Not seen a replay.

    Hull Ratings

Hamer brilliant 1st half, poor 2nd. Weird

    Quick question

Yes, if you want everyone else there to think you’re an underdressed twat….

    Things that annoy you

Don’t want to worry you, but I had an operation about 12 years ago privately, and told the surgeon I was allergic to penicillin. He put a different colour label on my wrist, and put in his report that Penicillin was not to be administered. Day after the op, he comes to see me, reads the notes...

    What Was Your…

    Much easier remembering the successes…

    What Was Your…

Wasn’t at the Notts County game, but big games back in the day always had a great feel about them, and always a big following from city fans. They all seemed brilliant if we won.

    What Was Your…

Closest I’ve ever been to a match. Sat on the grass near the west end goal.

    The Orange Ball

Not surprised, I could hardly see the ball myself on that clip…. ;)

    Hamer breaking up play

As I said, he was a very good player, and well thought of by lots of fans. He had brilliant moments, but I didn’t see the brilliant player that maybe others did. Just my opinion.

    Hamer breaking up play

He no doubt was a very good player, but he used to frustrate the hell out of me, he was too greedy, and as he had a shot like a rocket, decided to use it even when it was the worst option… Not a good team player in my opinion.

    Tyler walker

It was an easy cross, just a simple pass. At least, it was when Jamie Allen did it eh shmmeee ? ;)

    Random things you’ve seen

A woman with a flimsy nightie on, and nothing else, jumping in front of my car to try to kill herself…. And no, it wasn’t my wife :ROFLMAO:

    What are you snobby about?

We had net curtains in our first house, and they were washed regularly. “Can’t have the neighbours thinking we don’t look after our home” mrs used to go back to the street often to visit an old friend, nets in our old house were still the same ones, and not cleaned. Really grubby dirty...

    USSR invades Ukraine.

I don’t think that would worry the jailbirds they’ve released to become “soldiers”, or the Russian army in general. They are most likely following orders anyway. the bigger pipe dream would be to have no wars at all. Impossible of course.

    Prince Harry

I assume the Duke of Hazard is unhappy about losing Frogmore, must be heartbreaking to know your London Pad for a short holiday once a year is not available, the pad you were glad to leave as it was way too small.

Sometimes he just has to hold the ball up, but he’s not very good at that…
